‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is headed down a dangerous path as he has no clue his bipolar medicine has been tampered with.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Sees The Truth About Ava
He’s angry, volatile, and isn’t thinking things through. He tells his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is the last of the Jerome crime family, and he wants to take that last psycho out.
Until recently, Sonny seemed quite comfortable having Ava live in his penthouse and share custody of his daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), with her.
He also considered Ava, the only person he could trust. The two were getting very close, but then Sonny started seeing Natalia Rogers Rameriez (Eva LaRue). Their relationship went downhill for them after that.
Sonny took Natalia to Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding in May. Ava wasn’t too pleased with that.
Sonny explained to the gallery owner that since she killed Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan), she wasn’t welcome at a celebration that included the Falconeri clan.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Never Seems To Pay Until Now
Once Ava seemed to get past it, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) revealed to Sonny that Ava was the reason why her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), lost her law license.
After he heard that, Sonny kicked Ava to the curb and informed her that Avery would stay with him and she’d be hearing from his lawyer regarding custody arrangements.
Ava fired back by releasing the secret recording she had of Natalia making anti-gay remarks, which subsequently outed her daughter, Blaze (aka Allison Rogers, played by Jacquline Grace Lopez), and Kristina’s relationship.
This led to negative consequences for both Blaze and Kristina’s careers. The LGBTQ center Kristina opened didn’t want her associated with the place anymore because Kristina was dating someone who was in the closet. The record label dropped Blaze, claiming that she was ashamed to be open about her sexuality.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Is Determined To Eliminate The Threat
None of this sat well with Sonny. Spoilers tease that this Wednesday, Sonny will question Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). We can’t help but wonder if he will ask Jason to prove his loyalty by killing Ava.
Maybe he’ll ask this week or perhaps later on. We think Sonny has a plan in mind for Ava, and it wouldn’t surprise us if he asked Jason to off her.
Sonny admitted to Jason that he wanted to trust him but couldn’t. But Sonny loves to test people’s loyalty. Since he and Jason are on the outs, this would be the perfect opportunity to do just that.
When Jason worked for Sonny, he would have sent his trusted mob enforcer to take care of Ava permanently. Now, it’s a question of whether Jason is genuinely loyal to Sonny, which the audience knows undoubtedly he is.
Sonny believed that Jason had tried to kill him, so it would be a rocky road for them. However, Sonny is determined to eliminate any threat. Now he sees Ava as a threat, and he may recruit the one person that deep down Sonny knows he can count on to handle it, and that’s Jason.
