‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) now knows that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is an agent for the WSB.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Doesn’t Want To Tattle On Joss Or Lie To Carly
He discovered Joss’s secret while in Croatia rescuing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Britt casually mentioned to Jason that Joss happened to be there and that she was being held prisoner.
Jason was understandably shocked and told his goddaughter that they had much to discuss later on. However, now that Jason is back in Port Charles, we have to wonder if he’ll spill the beans.
Jason was livid with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for not coming to him with the truth. She explained to him that she wanted to tell him, but Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) would have thrown her in Steinmauer prison for treason.
If Jason tells Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about Joss being in danger and that Jack recruited her as a spy, she’ll no doubt lash out at her boyfriend for the betrayal.
However, in doing that, Jason would also be tattling on Joss, who is now an adult making her own choices, which Jason can very much relate to.
After Jason was severely injured in an accident, he developed a brain injury. The accident was caused by Jason’s alcoholic brother, A.J. Quartermaine (Sean Kanan), and it was life-changing for Jason.
He was taken in by mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and became his right-hand man. The Quartermaine family strongly disapproved of his new lifestyle.
Yet, that didn’t stop him from pursuing his independence. Jason chased danger. He understands why Joss was drawn into the WSB and what it means for her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Understands Joss’s Motives
Shortly after Joss’s boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), was murdered, Joss had a thirst for justice. She wanted to make a difference.
Jack saw potential in Joss as an agent and recruited her to join the organization. She received very little training before she was tasked with a dangerous mission.
Joss and her handler, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), were to go to Croatia and stay at the Five Poppies resort, posing as newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Nash.
They were supposed to gain information concerning a suspicious lab and report back. However, they risked their lives, defied Brennan’s orders, and accomplished nothing.
Jack is now furious with them. Not to mention, he found Joss and Vaughn in bed together at a secluded hideaway in Australia.
Yet, that didn’t stop him from continuing to use them. Jack knows Joss has the potential to be the kind of agent that Anna Devane once was.
Now, Jason has yet to confront Brennan, but it would be interesting to see if he does. Jason’s instinct to protect both Carly and Joss may lead him to conceal the truth.
Carly will not only rip into Jack, but she’ll also be incredibly hurt that Jason didn’t come to her. Carly and Jason have been BFFs forever.
If Jason doesn’t tell Carly soon, it may be difficult for her to forgive him. We also have to wonder if Carly will hear it first from Brennan.
If so, Carly will likely be just as enraged with Jason as she will be with Jack. We’re extremely curious to see who tells Carly first.
