General Hospital spoilers indicate that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) enlists Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) help to save Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Needs Jason Now More Than Ever
On the August 29th episode of GH, Britt found Joss and Vaughn locked in a room and held prisoner by Pascal (Marc Forget).
Despite Britt’s insistence that she wants Jason to leave the Five Poppies and return to Port Charles, she’ll realize she needs him now more than ever.
Britt has been receiving medication, presumably for her Huntington’s disease, in exchange for her work on Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) cold fusion project.
We suspect whatever drug she’s on is slowing down the progression of her Huntington’s. She’s not going to want to leave Croatia and leave behind her miracle cure.
That said, she won’t hesitate to rush and call Jason on that burner phone Jason gave her. Jason is on his way back home, but he can’t have gotten too far yet.
Of course, Jason will be shocked to find Joss in Croatia on a secret mission for the WSB. Spoilers hint that during the week of September 1st to 5th, Jason will get hit with a huge shock.
We have to wonder if once he saves Joss and Vaughn, he’ll agree to keep Joss’s secret. Jason has withheld information from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) before.
He may reluctantly agree not to tell Carly. However, he may also issue her an ultimatum: either she comes clean to her mother, or he’ll tell her everything.
It will be interesting to see whether Britt figures out that Joss and Vaughn are responsible for the WSB infiltration at the resort.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Can Jason Convince Britt To Return To Port Charles?
Jason could also prove successful in convincing Britt to come back to Port Charles with him and let all her loved ones know she’s really alive.
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will be overjoyed to know Britt survived. We can’t wait to find out how she managed to stay alive.
Jason may have to carry out two rescue missions if Britt does decide to make a break for it. He may even somehow steal the medicine Britt needs.
We may soon uncover who Britt’s mystery boss is as well. Some fans have speculated it could be Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) back from the dead.
Why not? Britt managed to escape death by “the hook” after saving Josslyn from an attack. If she can survive, surely evil mastermind Cesar Faison could be alive as well.
However, there is some buzz surrounding the return of Britt’s brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevy). Paevy is set to return to GH in September, so we’ll be seeing Paevy soon regardless.
Nathan may have also had an evil twin brother who’s calling the shots. Recently, the GH writers admitted the Britt/Obrecht/Cesar saga is far from over.
We’ll see if Jason has any luck in getting Britt to come home. They may need to join forces to defeat whoever is holding Britt hostage at the Five Poppies.
It would be like Jason and Britt picking up where they left off when they had to overpower Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) together. The action at the Five Poppies will get very intense.
