‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is on the warpath, as Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning) witnessing Lulu’s bond with Giovanni Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza) was the final straw.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Was Heartbroken To See Lulu And Gio Bonding
Early this week, Lulu had gone to the Metro Court pool to apologize to Gio for overhearing a shocking secret in such a cruel and horrifying way.
When Lulu confronted Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) at the Nurses Ball, it led to Gio inadvertently learning the truth about his parentage, which broke his heart.
Since then, Lulu and Gio seem to have developed a kinship. Brook Lynn’s desire to seek revenge on Lulu may alienate Gio, especially since he’s taken a shine to Lulu the way he has.
In the June 26th episode of GH, Gio came to Lulu’s rescue. A drunk stranger at the pool was hitting on her, and she was clearly unimpressed.
After Lulu rebuffed his unwelcome advances, he still wouldn’t take no for an answer. Gio boldly stepped in and kicked the intoxicated buffoon out.
Lulu was very grateful he was there and had her back. Brook Lynn stopped by the pool on her way to Deception and saw the two of them having fun together.
Brook Lynn appeared to be heartbroken when she saw Lulu and Gio joking and laughing together at the Metro Court pool.
Her worst fear is that she’ll never get to have a real relationship with her son. Since Gio found out that Brook Lynn gave him up for adoption as a teen, he thinks she rejected him.
Brook Lynn desperately wants to build a family with her newly discovered son, yet he’s rejected her efforts at every turn.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Should Rethink Her Plan
Lulu may be trying to help Gio and possibly pave the way for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to have a relationship with his son. She also wants Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Gio to become true brothers.
Brook Lynn may view Lulu’s newfound friendship with her son as intrusive. It feels like a slap in the face to Brook Lynn after Gio told her he wanted nothing to do with her.
Seeing Lulu bonding with Gio may have pushed Brook Lynn over the edge. Brook Lynn is on a mission to make Lulu pay for sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong and exposing her secret.
We’ve been team Brook Lynn all the way throughout this drama with Lulu. We cheered when Brook Lynn slapped smug, self-righteous Lulu.
However, Brook Lynn is blinded by her need for revenge and isn’t thinking this through. She even left folders at the Quartermaine mansion.
One of them contains the shocking details of Rocco’s unusual birth, which Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) saw and handed over to Rocco.
If Rocco reads the contents in that file, it would be a disaster. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is returning to the GH canvas in July.
If the soap leakers are to be trusted, it could be revealed that Britt is Rocco’s real mother. Of course, it’s another GH rewrite.
We can’t imagine the catfight that would ensue between Brook Lynn and Lulu, which would no doubt be epic. However, we have to wonder if Brook Lynn’s bold plan against Lulu will hurt Gio and Rocco the most.
