‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) tried to trick Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) into thinking that she was the one person he could count on.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Knows Sonny Is Unstable And Volatile
She moved into Sonny’s penthouse with Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), iced out Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), convinced him that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was a traitor, and practically cheered him on after he beat the living snot out of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Ava knew how to make Sonny feel like she was the one person in the world who understood him. She did a masterful job isolating him from others and even got him to drink with his pills.
Speaking of which, a couple of months ago, Ava discovered that Sonny’s bipolar medication had been tampered with. However, she chose to keep that pertinent bit of information to herself.
Ava knows Sonny is highly volatile and unstable because he isn’t on the proper dosage. She doesn’t yet know who had Sonny’s prescription altered.
She does know that Sonny wants custody of Avery, and she’s not about to allow that to happen. She’s furious at her baby daddy and ready to fight dirty if needed.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) knows that Ava is the “blond woman” who went to see Sonny’s pharmacist and asked questions about his medicine.
Val is still chummy with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Maybe Nina overhears Ava talking to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) at the Metro Court and learns that a custody battle is brewing between Sonny and Ava.
Perhaps Nina shares this information with Valentin. Val may realize that Ava could be the perfect ally or “patsy” in his quest to take Sonny down. He will relate to Ava’s desire to protect Avery because he feels the same about Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlet Fernadez).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin May Hold The Key To Ava’s Win In Court
Maybe he goes to her with a proposition: she helps him ensure that Sonny’s mental state deteriorates, and he goes off the rails, and he helps her get Sonny’s territory. It’s a win-win.
All they have to do is continue to make sure the pharmacist does what Valentin tells him to do. They could even step it up a notch.
Ava is desperate to retain custody of her little girl, and Valentin may hold the key. Sonny could act irrationally and lose his business first, prompting him to go looking for a fight.
He could run into Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) again and become violent. He could easily make a foolish move that could cost him custody of his daughter.
This week, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennessy) will break the news to Sonny, saying that his recent violent behavior may hinder him from winning in court.
Expect Ava to use Sonny’s mistake with Dex against him. She’ll have even more clout with the judge if Valentin and Ava succeed in getting the mafia boss to act out. Remember, Valentin had the idea to frame Sonny for Jason’s murder.
Val realizes that Ava might be useful in his plan to destroy Sonny and continue to be a big bad Pikeman boss, which could spark an unholy alliance between the two, leading to Sonny’s downfall and Ava’s victory.
