‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) choices lately have been nothing short of astounding.
A couple of weeks ago, she decided to let the very adorable Mavis the dog loose in the middle of traffic, which could have ended up killing the poor pup, but it did hurt Elaine Stevens (Judy Kain) as she went into the road to retrieve her dog.
We get it. Sasha was searching for whatever was in Elaine’s handbag, but her choice was questionable, if not careless and immoral, even though it was an accident.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sasha Received A Paltry Offer From Sidwell
Now, we have Sasha accepting a strange and quite paltry offer from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) for $250,000 in exchange for her to “finesse” Sidwell’s reputation with the ladies at Deception.
The man kidnapped Sasha and was about to blow her to smithereens with a bomb because her mother, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), stole diamonds from Sidwell, and he was trying to get them back.
Prior to this, she refused to accept money from her baby’s uncle, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). She wanted to prove she could do everything herself, and yet Sidwell’s cash was king.
It’s ridiculous to see Sasha make these questionable choices that will no doubt lead her down a dark path.
While it’s true that Sasha has wanted to regain control of her life and her finances ever since the mother-in-law from hell, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), took her for everything she was worth, this isn’t the right way to go about it. What is she thinking?
It’s baffling that Jason gave her an offer to buy a new place for her and the baby, and she wanted no part of it, yet this crazy deal with Sidwell seems better to her. Make it make sense!
Sidwell can’t be trusted, and despite Sasha’s desire to be independent from the Quartermaines, she’s making a decision that could negatively impact her and her baby’s life.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sidwell Could Tank Deception
This favor may not be all that Sidwell wants from Sasha. He may demand more from her, and if she doesn’t comply, she could land herself in danger.
The other issue is that Sasha’s involvement with Sidwell could lead to trouble for Deception. Sidwell’s business ties don’t appear legit, and it’s possible that whatever illegal activities he’s involved in could get Sasha into serious trouble. Sidwell could easily find a way to implicate Sasha in his crimes.
It’s clear Sidwell wants to do business with Deception. We think it may have something to do with his ex-wife, Natalia Rameriz (Eva LaRue), who is working there.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have worked hard to keep that ship afloat after all the scandals and shenanigans the company has endured.
If Sasha’s partnership with Sidwell goes awry, it could hurt the business. It also potentially harms Sasha’s friendships with the ladies and her relationship with her cousin, Maxie.
Sasha would have been better off telling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) the truth that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is her baby daddy.
They could protect her and make sure she has everything she needs. Instead, she’s made a deal with the devil himself.
