‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may need to save Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) again, as in the December 17th episode of the soap, Sasha was in church and lit a candle for her baby Liam, who died shortly after being born.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Rescued Sasha When Sidwell Kidnapped Her
Sasha was saying a prayer, and Sidwell just happened to slip into the back row of pews. He heard her say that she was pregnant. He looked at her ominously as if he were planning something.
GH writers seem to love torturing poor Sasha. She’s had to overcome many tragedies in her young life, and now she’s carrying her ex-boyfriend, Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) child.
Jason had to rescue Sasha before when Sidwell kidnapped her thanks to Sasha’s con-artist mother, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Holly had stolen diamonds from Sidwell in Africa and recruited Jason to help by returning the diamonds to Sidwell to get Sasha back.
Sidwell trapped Sasha in a room with a ticking bomb as Jason hurried to the warehouse where Sidwell was keeping Sasha, and they ran out of there moments before the explosion.
The two appeared to have some chemistry, and there was also that same bit of adventure and excitement “JaSam,” or Jason and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had back in the day.
In the December 19th episode, Sasha had the chance to thank Jason for saving her life, and Jason thanked Sasha for always having snacks for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).
Their mother, Sam, recently tragically passed away, and Sasha was sensitive to that. The two of them bonded in the Quartermaine kitchen. It was cute how Sasha brought up his reindeer sweater and playfully teased him about wearing it in old family photos.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: How “Jasha” Becomes A Couple Could Be Entertaining
Jason and Sasha have a fun, lighthearted connection, and Jason’s relaxed straightforwardness perfectly balances Sasha’s generosity and compassion.
It’s not hard to imagine them embarking on a romantic relationship. But it’s how they get there that will be entertaining. Inevitably, Sasha may again find herself in a predicament with Sidwell, as it looks like he may use Sasha to get to Holly again.
We don’t know his reasons yet, but Holly humiliated Sidwell by pretending to be romantically interested in him while scheming for his diamonds. Maybe Sidwell is the type not to let it go.
He could either kidnap Sasha again and, knowing that she’s pregnant, hold her for ransom. It would undoubtedly catch Holly’s attention. And perhaps activate his heroic side.
No doubt, he’ll come to Sasha’s rescue again. This time, it may result in a steamy kiss. Not to mention, Sasha is pregnant with Michael’s baby. She needs someone to talk to who won’t judge her.
Conversely, we all know how Jason and Sam became a super couple. Sam was pregnant with Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) baby, and Jason stepped up to help her raise Lila. Unfortunately, like Sasha’s baby, Lila didn’t survive.
Maybe Jason and Sasha could bond over Sasha’s new baby, and he can help her raise the little one in Michael’s absence.
