‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) may be the slow-burn couple we need right now.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cody And Molly Seem Like An Old-School Soap Couple
We think Molly needs someone fun and spirited in her life to balance her sensible, no-nonsense personality, and Cowboy Cody fits the bill.
Over the years, Molly has been all work and no play, and it looks like Cody is the perfect person to change that.
Molly was in a serious relationship with T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) for over a decade. They even tried to have a baby when Molly’s sister, Kristina Davis Corinthos (Kate Mansi), agreed to be her surrogate.
Sadly, Kristina lost the child that Molly and T.J. were supposed to raise together. The death of the baby hit them hard. It also changed everything between them.
In the end, their “domestic partnership,” as they called it, didn’t work out, and watching Molly interact with Cody, we feel it’s for the best.
Molly needs to lighten up, let her hair down, and allow herself to fall for Cody. That said, Vaganos and Kelly clearly have chemistry, but they are wise to take it slow.
They are taking their time getting to know each other and enjoying each other’s company. However, Molly and Cody should be on our screens more often.
They have also almost kissed a couple of times, but they are always interrupted. Molly and Cody are a refreshing change of pace from all the soap couples who just hop into bed on a whim.
We love to see soaps feature slow-burn, old-school type romances where the pair shares a bond that strengthens over time, and a relationship builds from there.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Molly And Cody Balance Each Other
Soaps are notorious for rushing couples and having their characters fall into bed without hesitation. Yet, what we see with Cody and Molly is the type of couple who have a chance to last.
Cody and Molly have a sweet and charming vibe, and we love watching them. It should be fun to watch them grow closer and finally admit their feelings.
Plus, we really enjoy Molly much more when she shows her fun side, and Cody seems to bring out the best in her.
The two balance each other out as Molly is dependable, hard-working, and determined, while Cody is sociable, likeable, and a bit goofy, but in an endearing sort of way.
Somehow, the two seem to really work. They also looked really good together at the Nurses Ball this past May.
Of course, Molly was a vision, classically beautiful in her red dress, and Cody was her dapper date, who couldn’t believe he was with such a stunning woman.
It was adorable to watch them dance around each other. We also liked Michael Corinthos’s (Rory Gibson) sage advice to Molly when she couldn’t define her feelings: spend more time with him.
It’s really that simple when you like someone. The more we see Cody and Molly spending time together on-screen, the more wonderful they are together.
We can’t wait to see them go on their first official date. They may find that something more is bubbling underneath the surface.
We’re rooting for Cody and Molly to realize how well they complement each other and that they should explore their undeniable connection.
