‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is FINALLY free from Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) and out of Ferncliff forever as of today.

The most righteous scenes included when Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) busted open the door and stopped Montague dead in his tracks.

    Nurse Janice Apologizing

It was entertaining to watch him become desperate when Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) came up to the door, and he threatened to kidnap Sasha when we all knew where it was going from that moment forward.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dr. Montague is Busted

Dr. Montague was busted. Even though he was still holding that Godforsaken syringe up to Sasha’s neck, he knew he had no other option but to threaten to kill Sasha right in front of his staff.

Cody and Sasha were horrified as Dr. Montague looked as dangerous and menacing as he ever did. It certainly didn’t give Nurse Janice a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Just when we couldn’t love Cody Bell even more, he turns all knight and shining armor, risks his own life, and fights Dr. Montague for the poison-filled syringe.

Sasha was mortified to see Montague with the needle just inches away from him. Fortunately, Dante Falconari (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up to rescue Sasha and Cody just in the nick of time.

Dante followed Cody to Ferncliff to give him a helping hand (although the rescue mission could have been planned).

    Dr. Montague with needle

Cody going into the room to confront Montague in private was priceless. It was hilarious when Cody just couldn’t resist one last punch in the stomach.

What was even more fun to watch was Dante looking the other way when Mac Scorpio (John J. York) asked whether Cody assaulted the evil doc after Montague made the accusation. “I didn’t see anything,” Dante replied.

It’s been awesome to see Dante play a different role since he’s been with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). He seems just a little more willing to ditch the rules when it comes to good vs. evil.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Runs Gladys Out of Town

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was busy with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Sonny basically ran Gladys out of town.

    Sonny Grilling Gladys

The only problem with this is that Sasha deserved more justice. Wouldn’t it have been great if Gladys went to prison right along with Montague?

Sasha could have had the chance to take them both down in court and send them to prison for the rest of their lives.

On the one hand, we will get to see Montague arrested. On the other, Gladys just goes back to Bridgeport and isn’t allowed to gamble anymore.

It was a nice touch that she didn’t get to take her luggage, but we were hoping that when Sonny’s henchman opened the door, Sonny would reveal that he recorded Gladys confessing.

Gladys should have gone to prison to give Sasha the full circle of justice she deserved. Gladys started this whole mess by gambling Sasha’s money away.

We should have at least got to see Sasha confronting her in court. It’s important that victims of a serious crime get justice, especially for a character as good as Sasha.

Yes, she gets to move on and most likely have a romance with Cody, but she doesn’t get to have the knowledge that she is the one who helped put Gladys in her place.

Even though Sonny handles things differently (he’s no snitch), maybe General Hospital could have made an exception this once for the mother-in-law from hell. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) would have had a field day helping Sasha put Gladys behind bars.

As far as payoffs go, GH almost got it right, but they also missed the opportunity to empower Sasha by allowing her to get ALL her justice.
