‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that the recent scene with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was like a breath of fresh air.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Fab Foursome Have Been Spending a Lot of Time Together
The fab foursome went out as “friends” and sang karaoke at Charlie’s Pub. Much like their axe-throwing double date, the karaoke was also fun to watch.
It’s been refreshing to see a romantic, lighthearted story play out amid the deluge of mafia drama that’s been taking up screentime in the past couple of weeks. (Not that the “Godfather” isn’t compelling, but splitting up the time for a bit of romance is a wise idea!)
The scenes between the four actors were so natural and lovely. Cody has become a valuable character who truly cares about his friends. He’s been Spinelli’s friend, but the computer genius hasn’t realized it until now.
Cody is acting as somewhat of a wingman for Spinelli, playing Cupid with Sasha and trying to get “Spixie” back together. The scenes that followed were adorable and charming, as Cody informed Sasha that when Spinelli and Maxie were together, he would serenade her.
Cody and Sasha sang first. It was a pretty little ditty, and the pair were animated and entertaining on stage. Spinelli was up next. He sang his heart to Maxie. Then, the two of them shared a kiss. Maxie isn’t ready to face her feelings yet, and unfortunately, she runs off afterward.
Fans have been waiting for a long time for a “Spixie” reunion. And now they might get their wish. Felicia Scorpio (Kristiana Wagner) came up with the idea for Spinelli to say that a pipe burst at his apartment so he could move in with Maxie to help with the rent.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: “Spixie” and “Sody”
Maxie has been having money troubles lately, and Spinelli is happy to help. They share a daughter, Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher).
Perhaps the kiss will lead to Georgie’s parents deciding they still love each other. The two of them share a beautifully woven history and really understand each other. It was also wonderful to see Cody and Sasha connecting as well.
GH has a goldmine with the budding Cody and Sasha pairing. The slow burn route has served them well, as Sasha has been through hell and back the past couple of years. After an idyllic pregnancy, her baby Liam died in the hospital.
After she lost her son, her husband, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), was killed. She became addicted to drugs and spiraled out of control. Not to mention, the mother-in-law from hell, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), took advantage of her and stole her money.
It makes sense that Sasha wouldn’t rush into a new relationship, as it would be difficult for anyone to trust after enduring such horrific trauma. It’s delightful to see that Cody makes her happy, even if he’s just a “good friend” (for now).
Spoilers for the week of February 26th reveal that Spinelli and Maxie will grow closer. You don’t want to miss it!
