‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers confirm that the writers must think we’re all stupid. Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten must be smoking something strong in the writer’s room to create this new reveal that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is Sasha Corbin‘s (Sofia Mattsson) father.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Writers Think We’re Stupid
First of all, does Korte review the show’s recent history? Does she not remember that we all saw Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) take a sample of Sasha’s hair and test it to see if Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Mac Scorpio (John J York) were a match?
If Sasha and Cody were related, the test would have shown this. It didn’t. Now, we’re to believe Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is Sasha’s mother all of a sudden? What?
How in the name of everything holy is that even possible? The last couple of times Holly was in Port Charles, she didn’t mention Sasha, and they may have even crossed paths.
There was no way that Holly would ignore her daughter, who was around, and she had to know Sasha was a model for deception. Are we supposed to believe Holly was oblivious to this until October 16th, 2024?
The storyline is ridiculous. What’s worse, the writers treat the fans like they don’t have the sense to realize this is a terrible storyline, so now Sasha and Cody are ruined.
We waited over a year for those two to get together, and it was a slow burn at first. It was refreshing to see Sasha take her time after her husband. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was killed.
But now that Sasha and Cody are cousins, they can’t be together. “Kissing Cousins” isn’t cute. We’re not buying what GH is selling.
Obviously, the writers sat down and thought, “What’s the most asinine, shocking thing we could possibly do?” “Oh, we know…. let’s make Sasha and Cody cousins!”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hasn’t Sasha Suffered Enough?
And while we’re on the writers, hasn’t poor Sasha suffered enough? First, she was hooked on drugs, then her baby boy Liam died, then her husband died, and then she was placed in a psychiatric facility with the doctor from hell and her mother-in-law stealing from her and setting her up to die.
Who helped Sasha through that monstrous ordeal? Cody!! He broke her out of Ferncliff, exposed that evil doctor, and saved her. We were waiting for those two to have an actual love story, but now that can’t happen.
Today’s episode was so upsetting for fans of this couple, who seemed to have just found their footing. They can’t be together because they’re related.
Good going writers. We had hoped that with Cody, Sasha’s torture would finally end, but the writers will inevitably find a way to punish Sasha.
It looks like a rewrite to us, and the storyline is detestable. GH had something extraordinary with Cody and Sasha, and they blew it.
We predict Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will break up, and Michael and Sasha will get back together, which isn’t cool.
It’s not cool because Michael ditched Sasha to be with Willow, and Sasha is too good for Michael. We think Sasha deserves better, and Cody was it.
