It was a busy week in Port Charles, and almost every major story seemed to connect back to secrets, traps and people playing dangerous games.

Carly and Valentin’s hidden romance became harder to contain, Joss remained trapped at Wyndemere, Sonny and Laura worked to turn Pascal against Sidwell, and Michael’s plan to push Willow and Chase together started gaining traction. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn and Chase moved one step closer to adopting Phoebe, only for Ethan’s paternity secret to create another complication waiting to explode.

Here’s a look back at the biggest General Hospital moments of the week.

Carly and Valentin’s Secret Gets More Complicated

Carly and Valentin may have been trying to enjoy their new connection, but Port Charles never lets anyone hide for long.

After Lulu interrupted them, Valentin was forced to listen as she opened up to Carly about Rocco, Charlotte and her fears that she had pushed her son away. Lulu also didn’t hold back when it came to Valentin, which made the whole situation even more awkward.

Things got worse when Nina showed up and revealed that Jack was at Turning Woods and wanted to see Valentin. Her message made it clear that Jack believed something bigger was going on, especially when he used the phrase “Ex Machina.”

That sent Valentin straight into Jack’s orbit again, even though Carly knew the risk. By the end of the week, Carly realized Joss’ disappearance was tied to the mission Jack had put her daughter on, and she made it clear she may never forgive him for that.

    Joss Fights to Escape Wyndemere

Joss spent the week proving she is not someone Sidwell should underestimate.

While trapped at Wyndemere, she kept pushing Pascal’s buttons and tried to convince him that his loyalty to Sidwell would not save him. She eventually managed to create a power outage and escape her cell, but Sidwell was waiting for her before she could get away.

The only reason Joss survived that confrontation was because Cassius stepped in and refused to let Sidwell shoot her. That moment made it clear that Cassius may be more conflicted than he wants to admit.

Joss also managed to leave behind a clue by dropping her ring in the living room. If anyone finds it, that could be the first real sign that she has been held at Wyndemere.

Sonny, Laura and Lucas Turn Pascal Into Their Best Shot

Sonny and Laura’s plan to take down Sidwell took a major step forward this week when Lucas brought new information about Pascal to the PCPD.

Lucas revealed that Pascal had been obsessed with Marco, which gave the police a reason to question him. Once Joe arrived at Wyndemere and questioned Pascal in front of Sidwell and the Deception women, Pascal panicked and ran.

That was exactly what Sonny and Laura needed.

Once Sonny got to Pascal first, he, Laura and Lucas pressured him into helping them. Pascal revealed that Sidwell had the photos and negatives hidden in a safe at Wyndemere, giving Lucas a dangerous new mission.

Lucas came through and delivered the evidence, but he was not ready to stop there. He knows Sidwell is still free, still dangerous and still capable of killing again. By Friday, Lucas was back at Wyndemere and opening Sidwell’s safe, only for Sidwell to walk in and catch him.

Tracy and Brook Lynn Go After Sidwell

The Deception women also made their move against Sidwell this week.

Tracy, Brook Lynn and Lucy arrived at Wyndemere determined to push him out of Deception. Tracy accused him of using the company for questionable shipments and made it clear they were willing to risk an audit if that was what it took to get rid of him.

Sidwell tried to play offended, but Tracy was not backing down.

Unfortunately, the confrontation was interrupted when Joe arrived to question Pascal about Marco’s murder. That shifted everyone’s attention away from Deception and put Pascal directly in Sidwell’s line of fire.

Still, Tracy’s warning made one thing clear: the women of Deception are not willing to let Sidwell quietly use their company for his own agenda.

Michael’s Plan Against Willow and Chase Starts Working

Michael’s scheme to push Willow and Chase together became much clearer this week.

After arranging for Willow and Chase to run into each other at the boathouse, Michael used Jacinda to help monitor the situation. The plan is ugly, but it may already be working. Chase and Willow spent time swimming, talking and reconnecting over old memories, while Jacinda reported back that Willow seemed completely smitten.

Willow then took things even further by offering Chase a job as her Chief of Staff.

That offer immediately raised red flags for Nina, Obrecht and Brook Lynn. Nina warned Willow that spending so much time with her ex-husband while Drew is trapped in his chair would create rumors and personal complications. Obrecht was even sharper, suggesting Willow may know exactly what she is doing.

By the end of the week, Brook Lynn was no longer willing to sit back and hope for the best.

Brook Lynn Turns to Lucy for Help

Brook Lynn and Chase should have been celebrating good news about Phoebe’s adoption, but Willow’s constant presence in Chase’s life kept casting a shadow over everything.

Tracy made things worse when she spotted Chase and Willow together at the boathouse and jumped to the conclusion that Chase had cheated. Chase denied it, and Brook Lynn chose to believe her husband, but her face made it clear the situation was still bothering her.

After Willow later showed up with paperwork for Phoebe and hugged Chase in Alexis’ office, Brook Lynn decided she needed help.

    Naturally, she went to Lucy.

Lucy quickly understood the assignment and made it clear that if Brook Lynn wants to outmaneuver Willow, she has come to the right person. That could make this storyline a lot messier very quickly.

Ethan’s Secret Could Blow Up Phoebe’s Adoption

Phoebe’s adoption story also took a major turn when Ethan admitted to Alexis that he is the baby’s biological father.

Ethan explained that he and Delilah had a brief relationship and later learned she was pregnant. He does not want to raise Phoebe and believes she belongs with Brook Lynn and Chase. His condition is that the adoption remains closed and his identity stays sealed.

That decision may sound simple, but Ava already knows the truth.

When Ethan asked Ava to keep quiet, she agreed — but made it clear her silence will come at a price. That means Phoebe’s adoption may move forward for now, but there is already another secret hanging over Brook Lynn and Chase’s future.

Rocco’s Disappearance Keeps Lulu and Dante on Edge

Rocco’s disappearance continued weighing heavily on Lulu and Dante.

Lulu admitted to Carly that she may have helped Rocco run by getting him a fake passport, and she feared that her fighting with Dante had pushed their son away. Dante, meanwhile, continued working the case while struggling with the fact that he could not tell everyone the full truth.

Liz became an important part of that story when she explained to Lulu what she knew about Rocco’s injury and Britt’s involvement. While the truth was difficult, Lulu seemed to understand that Liz had been trying to help her son.

The biggest question remains what Britt is doing with Rocco and whether she truly believes she is protecting him.

    Looking Ahead

Port Charles is heading into another explosive week.

Joss is still trapped at Wyndemere, Lucas has been caught near Sidwell’s safe, and Obrecht has now been grabbed by Cullum. Meanwhile, Michael’s plan against Willow and Chase is getting closer to hurting Brook Lynn, and Ethan’s secret could threaten Phoebe’s adoption before it is even finalized.

If this week proved anything, it is that almost every secret in Port Charles is getting harder to keep.
