‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that junior spy and rookie WSB agent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is working our last nerve.
Is Joss Trying to Stir Up Trouble for Carly or Was She Simply Gloating?
What on earth is Joss thinking, going to Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room and announcing that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was cheating on him?
Is she actually trying to stir up trouble for her mom and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)? It’s almost as if she’s gleefully happy she has this “inside” info to share with Jack, while disregarding the danger she’s creating.
If Brennan figures out that Carly has been harboring a fugitive, especially Valentin of all people, not to mention sleeping with him, all bets are off. Jack may even go so far as to arrest both Carly and Valentin.
While most fans think that Jack brought this on himself, it was really difficult for me not to empathize with him and to watch Joss gloat about what Carly was doing behind Brennan’s back.
In my opinion, Joss’s treatment of Jack was beyond disgusting, as was her complete disrespect for her own mother, and I don’t even agree with the way Carly has handled the whole situation with Brennan.
Joss was sure to twist the knife deeper into Brennan. Oh, and before Joss left Jack’s hotel room, she was sure to tell him that “it was a pleasure enlightening you.”
It made me physically sick. Jack’s heart is about to be broken into a million pieces, and she’s rubbing it in his face.
Joss Has Become Almost Unwatchable in Her Incessant Pursuit of “Justice”
Joss has become insufferable, making her almost unwatchable as she traipses through town, asking questions that are none of her business and making everyone around her uncomfortable with her little rogue investigations.
Snarky and obnoxious to her core, Joss used to be a character to root for, but now that she thinks she’s this big, bad WSB agent, she’s become too big for her britches.
Some fans claim that Joss has become a “mini-Carly,” but Carly doesn’t tend to take pleasure in other people’s pain, no matter how deserving that other person might be.
Nor would Carly rat out her daughter and throw her to the wolves the way Joss did to Carly. Joss may as well have told him that the other man was Valentin, because he’s going to find out. The man is an international spy.
After Joss went to see Jack, she went to Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) office at Crimson and probed her relentlessly about “Nathan.”
Was Joss Using the Memory of Dex to Gain Information?
When she used Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) memory to uncover more about “Nathan” and his “missing” years, she became even more unlikeable, as it was almost impossible to tell whether she was genuinely being herself.
It’s a far cry from the young heroine we saw in Dex’s hospital room after he had passed away, declaring that she would always love him. That scene literally broke my heart.
When Joss was with Dex, she was a far more enjoyable character. Now, her relentless pursuit of what she believes is “justice” has made her appear self-righteous and arrogant.
Don’t even get me started on Joss’s determination to put her former stepfather, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), behind bars. She’s become hypocritical and completely lacking in any self-awareness whatsoever.
Joss used to have a heart, at least. It looks like her heart may have died with Dex. While Joss’s WSB storyline was different and exciting at first, Joss’s time being “right” and better than everyone else has definitely run its course.
