‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may be more in danger than she realizes. She made a very risky move and cut the power grid to Spoon Island.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Joss Did a Poor Job Covering Her Tracks
When she arrived at Wyndemere, she tried to be sneaky but didn’t exactly succeed when a suspicious Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) found her wandering around.
Joss attempted to cover tracks with a ridiculous story about her being headed to a college keg party on a different island close by.
Cullum pretended to fall for her bogus narrative and presented a charcuterie tray as they sat and drank wine and talked for a bit.
Joss told him she was a college student and an environmental scientist major, which is only half true. She used to be an environmental science major and is now a spy for the WSB.
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) tried to protect Joss by temporarily deactivating her WSB status, but Cullum may have figured it out anyway.
He may know a lot more than he’s letting on, especially being higher up than even Brennan. Joss overheard Cullum and Jack talking earlier that evening.
So, Cullum played Joss’s game and told her he was “Matthew the caretaker,” which of course, Joss knows is a lie. Jack tried to warn her. He didn’t want to put her in danger.
Unfortunately, Joss disobeyed her boss’s orders and basically became a junior terrorist after using explosives to knock out the power at Wyndemere Castle, so that she could go on a fishing expedition.
She single-handedly caused a horror-movie-like scenario on the island and proceeded to break into the mansion. Joss suspects that the lab is in the mansion.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cullum Could Eliminate Joss as a Threat
We have to wonder if maybe Joss will be the one to find Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who is being held hostage in the catacombs.
Meanwhile, Cullum could either know that Joss is an agent, or he could easily find out. It likely wouldn’t require much research for him to learn that Joss is working for Brennan.
After all, he already knows that Jack is dating Joss’s mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). He can likely also sense that Joss is a threat to him and Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) cold-fusion project.
Plus, Cullum is the one who brought Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to the Five Poppies hotel. He may realize that Joss is one of the agents who blew up that resort in Croatia.
Joss may be in serious danger, which again, Jack warned her about. She wiped out electricity at Wyndemere, for the sole purpose of searching around in that lab. Cullum could suspect that.
Sadly, Joss also heard Brennan tell Cullum that he was only dating Carly to dig for dirt on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), which is a blatant lie.
It’s also possible that Cullum will eliminate the perceived threat to the project. He could even terminate Josslyn’s career with the WSB.
Joss may be a massive liability to her own agency. While Brennan knows that Joss had a plan to destroy the power grid, he may not be able to protect Joss if Cullum knows she’s an agent.
We also speculate that if Joss is in real danger from Cullum, Brennan could risk his own life to save her. Carly might even change her opinion and her plans for payback on her lover.
