‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is ready to move forward with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Their friendship has been refreshing, and their slow burn is palpable.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A Brief History of Cody and Sasha
Cody rescued Sasha when she needed it the most. Sasha’s greedy mother-in-law gambled all her money away and wanted full access to her funds.
She deviously plotted with the evil Dr Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) to force Sasha into guardianship, as she would have control over Sasha’s finances. They also got Sasha hooked on pills so that her judgment was impaired.
Cody figured out what she was up to and tried to warn Sasha, who didn’t initially believe him. Sasha accidentally stabbed Cody, as she was hallucinating that it was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Cody was fine, but Sasha ended up in Ferncliff asylum under Dr. Montague’s care. He continued to drug her and almost killed her.
Fortunately, Cody got himself committed to Ferncliff and saved her in the nick of time. He had help from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Sasha and Cody became close and have only gotten closer. Their heart-to-heart talks and genuine concern for one another have been a joy to watch, compared to other GH couples, whose relationships often start in bed.
Since her late husband, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), Sasha hasn’t been with anyone. However, she’s clearly developed feelings for the cowboy and will soon be ready to explore them.
When Sasha and Cody were working together at Deception, it was obvious that they had chemistry. The photoshoot with the two of them and the baby alpaca, Ferdinand, was too adorable for words.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Romance Is in The Cards for Them
Spoilers indicate that May is a month of romance for Cody and Sasha as they open themselves to the possibility of love. It’s perfect timing because Sasha needed a place to live, and the Quartermaines needed to hire a cook.
Sasha recently became the new Quartermaine cook, so the two of them will see more of each other now. It was a pleasant surprise when Sasha boldly planted a big wet one on Cody in the Quartermaine stables.
Now, there’s no getting around their feelings for each other; it’s time for them to get together. They will start dating, and perhaps Sasha could put those cooking skills to good use during her downtime and make some yummy meals for Cody.
They could ride horses together and look at sunsets on the Quartermaine property. Their first “real” kiss is coming, and it will be memorable.
Romance is definitely in the cards for Sasha and Cody, as they played the game the right way. They would do anything for each other as they experienced an ordeal together that they could never forget.
With the hell Sasha went through when her baby Liam died and then her husband was killed by “the hook,” Heather Webber (Alley Mills), the girl deserves some happiness. Cody will always treat her well and put her first.
Cody and Sasha are set to become the next big couple in Port Charles, as they have proven that love is worth its weight in gold.
