‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that in the November 10th episode of GH, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) collapses and seemingly has a heart attack after a nasty altercation with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Emergency Could Bring Brook Lynn And Gio Closer As Mother and Son
It looks like Emma Drake Scorpio (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza) will be the ones to find poor Ned on the ground outside Bobbie’s, struggling after Drew leaves him there to die.
As Ned goes after Drew, he grabs his chest and collapses, and Drew couldn’t have been more despicable in his reaction to seeing his uncle writhing on the ground.
Apparently, Congressman Cutthroat thinks that Ned is faking his heart attack the same way that Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) once tested Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) loyalty and faked a heart attack to test her.
Now, Ned is helpless, lying on the floor, and Gio and Emma will likely be the ones to call 911. Ned will, of course, be rushed to GH ASAP.
We all know Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is her daddy’s little girl, and once she learns about Ned’s condition, she’s going to be heartbroken. She will no doubt panic over the news.
It’s almost fitting that her estranged son, Gio, is the one to find Brook Lynn’s father and get him the help he needs.
The emergency will likely bring Brook Lynn and Gio closer. Gio should quickly bounce back from his anger and make sure to support his mom, Brook Lynn, while the doctors fight to save Ned.
Meanwhile, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) when she receives the horrifying call that Ned has collapsed.
We can imagine that Brook Lynn will not only receive support and comfort from her son but also from Lulu of all people.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Quartermaine Family Will Come Together and Pray For Ned to Recover
Prior to Ned’s heart attack, Brook Lynn was worried about her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), being too invested in helping to free Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Brook Lynn was concerned that Chase was in too deep with Willow, and his obsession with trying to prove her innocence could cost him his job at the PCPD.
Meanwhile, we’re worried that Chase could still have feelings for Willow and be gravitating toward her again. It would break Brook Lynn’s heart.
That said, Brook Lynn will likely soon join Olivia at the hospital as they will both fear for Ned’s life and pray for a miracle.
We predict the tragedy will facilitate a newfound mother-son bond between Brook Lynn and Gio. Since Gio understands what it’s like to lose a parent, he’ll no doubt empathize with his estranged mother.
It will be an interesting situation as Gio has grieved over the loss of the woman whom he once thought was his birth mother, Camilla Cerullo.
Once he discovered that Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were his true birth parents, he wanted nothing to do with them.
Now that there is a major family emergency, we can see the two of them finally coming together to pull for Ned’s recovery.
We certainly hope that Ned survives this. We would love to see the Quartermaine family come together to kick Drew’s butt for walking away from Ned while he’s having a heart attack!
