‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) has a big mouth, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is concerned about a decision Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) made, and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has another reason to fight Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). If you missed the action, let’s catch you up on the latest in today’s General Hospital rundown.
General Hospital spoilers: Loose lips
Kim, as you might remember from last time, asked Shiloh to help bring her son back. Shiloh is all about getting so—er, helping those in need, so he agrees pretty quickly. But first, he wants her to actually say she wants him to father a child with her. Hmm. Guess he learned from the Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) con. Kim is embarrassed, as what she really meant was, she wants him to teach her how to convince Drew Cain (Billy Miller). A possible mark is a possible mark, so Shiloh isn’t exactly saying no to that.
Lucky for Kim, Julian Jerome (William deVry) has dropped by to check on her, thanks to Drew’s warnings. Upon seeing Shiloh, he demands to know what the guy’s doing there. Kim’s a bit surprised at his behavior, so she confronts him after he leaves. Julian explains about Shiloh being a con and a sexual predator, which freaks Kim out. She is now upset that she didn’t know this sooner, because she had Shiloh in her home. He apologizes for not getting the chance to say anything sooner, and they’re basically good. The problem is, Kim had ended up spilling info about Julian’s grandson being mixed up in a custody thing, and now Shiloh has basically figured out who is son likely is. Or, well, the kid who everyone else believes to be his son, anyway.
General Hospital spoilers: Staying put
Sasha has made a big decision today, one that Valentin isn’t loving: she wants to stay in Port Charles. Besides really caring for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and loving the area, she says she has another motive to stick around. Valentin (correctly) guesses this motive is named Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
After admitting that she does, in fact, like Michael, Valentin warns her this is not a good idea. Anyone close to Michael will get scrutiny and that could lead to her exposure. She doesn’t think they’re even remotely serious enough for the family to see a reason to dig into her background. He warns her that it’s bad news to fall in love with someone you’re lying, too. He actually makes us feel bad for a second when he talks about waking up every day wondering if this is the one where you’ll be exposed. Note the almost.
General Hospital spoilers: Reason to fight
In other news, Willow is still chilling at the PCPD, as she definitely has contempt for a judge/court that would put a baby in Shiloh’s hands. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) warns her that she might not be able to keep this up forever. Willow vows to keep it up for the rest of her life, if that’s what it takes to protect Wiley. It might not come to that.
While she and Chase are talking, Michael arrives and breaks the news about her father’s murder, as well as the false confession admission, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) getting locked up. Chase stops Michael before that last line of conversation can go anywhere, but Willow’s mind is blown. After Michael leaves, she cries on Chase’s shoulder about how Shiloh slept with her after killing her father. Hmm. Maybe she and Ava Jerome (Maura West) can form a support group. After all, this kind of plot seems to be going around…
General Hospital spoilers: Bad news
Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Bernard and Laura Wright) show up for the more detailed ultrasound appointment. Everything is going fine at first, but suddenly the doctor gets real quiet and says she needs to consult with someone. Carly, obviously, isn’t happy about that and demands to know what’s going on. It doesn’t get her anywhere, but she tried.
Later on, the consult has brought some bad news. The baby has spinal bifida, although they won’t know the extent of the problem until later in the pregnancy. The condition could be very minor, or could have more serious repercussions. Sonny and Carly are then left alone to talk, and Sonny assures her that no matter what, this kid is going to have all the love it needs. But the door is left open to major heartbreak down the line with this story line.
