‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that some fans are sick of Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) dark twist and are clamoring for her to be redeemed, while others argue she’s past the point of redemption.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dark Willow Has Admittedly Been Entertaining to Watch

Some fans are also saying the treatment of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may have gone too far. Yet many fans think he’s getting exactly what he deserves or that both of them deserve what is coming to them.

It was a smart move for GH to make Willow Drew’s shooter, and I am one of the few viewers who actually thought she might be innocent.

Why, you ask? Well, soaps often toss the audience red herrings to throw them off course. Most of the time, those accused of crimes aren’t guilty. However, in this case, GH made the right call.

Personally, I think dark Willow has been fun to watch. It was hilarious when she giggled to herself when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) tossed a drink on Drew at the restaurant.

It was also a shocking twist for Willow to stab Drew in the neck, drugging him and ultimately mimicking a debilitating stroke. Willow as Congresswoman may be on a whole other level, though.

We may soon see Willow’s behavior turn very corrupt, like so many other politicians who shall not be named, for fear of upsetting the readers.

It’s also possible that she’ll use her newfound position to block Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) from his own children. While Drew has created his own karma, Michael deserves to be happy and have custody of the kids.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael and His Kids Deserve Better than Willow

Michael is a good dad, and he did nothing to deserve Willow cheating on him with Drew, of all people. Willow also has a very negative pattern of blaming others for her poor choices.

It was especially difficult to watch her drag her mother through the mud when she found out about Drew’s affair with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Willow’s treatment of Nina was abhorrent and hypocritical. After all, she cheated on her loving husband with his sleazy uncle.

Now we have come to learn another shocking twist in which Willow teamed up with Sidwell to drug Drew into his precarious position: lying in bed, unable to speak, and his only source of communication is blinking his eyes.

What I fear most is that Sidwell will not only make her complicit in other schemes but also make her a willing participant.

Willow may come to relish the power of her position and join forces with Sidwell to run Port Charles into the ground. She could also really hurt Michael or help Sidwell take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).

Yes, Sonny is a mobster, but he actually protects the people in that town from far worse criminals, and in my estimation, that is Sidwell.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Katelyn MacMullen Is Rocking Her Role as “Dark Willow”

While Drew is currently literally reaping the “misery” of what he’s sown (pun intended), Michael is innocent. Willow put a key to Drew’s house on Michael’s key ring to incriminate him in Drew’s shooting, which was so wrong and also very disturbing.

And yes, at times, her treatment and drugging of Drew is downright chilling. Willow’s sudden turn against Drew has caused significant division among the fans. Is she justified in what she’s doing, or is she simply evil?

    Brook Lynn and Chase

Additionally, Willow is manipulating Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Chase has risked his career as a cop and his marriage to the wonderful Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

Katelyn MacMullen is such a talented actress that I would like to see Willow change her ways. Unless a serious and intense turnaround for the character is coming, I am unsure of how far Willow will go to the dark side.
