General Hospital spoilers for the week of Monday, June 8 to Friday, June 12 reveal Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) makes a decision. Meanwhile, Fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is taken by surprise. Plus, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is in danger. Here’s what you need to know.

    Key Highlights

    • Curtis’ legal troubles are just starting.
    • Fake Nathan might have a change of heart.
    • Lucas is in serious danger from Sidwell

It seems Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) troubles are only getting worse in the coming days. Not only is he facing criminal charges for the attack on Isaiah, but he could also find himself facing a lawsuit.

Spoilers suggest that Isaiah may pursue legal action against Curtis in an effort to seek financial compensation, which would make sense given the severity of his injuries. The attack left Isaiah badly hurt and could ultimately cost him his career as a surgeon.

Based on recent spoilers, we predict Isaiah will receive devastating news this week that he may never be able to operate again.

As for Curtis, he’s not wasting any time. With his situation growing more complicated by the day, he turns to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for legal help.

We suspect this has more to do with the criminal charges he’s facing than any potential civil lawsuit. It feels a bit too soon for Isaiah to have officially filed a suit and for Curtis to have already been served or notified.

If Alexis does agree to represent Curtis, it’s one case we’re hoping she doesn’t win.

    You Did What?

In other news, this development comes as no surprise. The moment Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) kidnapped Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), it seemed obvious she was being brought in as a replacement for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). And if that was the plan, there was no way Fake Nathan was going to be happy about it.

The weekly promo appears to confirm exactly that. In one scene, Fake Nathan walks into the room where Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is being held and finds her with Liesl. Judging by his reaction, he’s far from pleased with the latest addition to their operation.

Later, Fake Nathan confronts Cullum over the decision to kidnap his mother. Josslyn was already starting to get through to him, and this latest development could push him even closer to her side.

After all, it’s hard to imagine Fake Nathan being willing to risk his mother’s life once the prototype is operational. That is, assuming Liesl is actually willing to cooperate with her captors.

We suspect she will, but only if Cullum and his team give her a compelling reason. That motivation could come in the form of threats against someone she loves back in Port Charles. Another possibility is that they reveal the truth about the drug and promise that Britt will have access to it — or even control over it — if Liesl agrees to do as she’s told.

Given Liesl’s history and her devotion to her daughter, that may be the strongest leverage they have.

    Face Off

Finally, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) comes face-to-face with Lucas. According to General Hospital spoilers, Lucas returns to Wyndemere after he, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) agree that the best way to bring Sidwell down is to catch him in the act.

Based on Sidwell confronting Lucas about his son’s death, it seems likely that Lucas reveals the truth intentionally, hoping to provoke a reaction. The plan may be for Sidwell to incriminate himself or make a threatening move before backup arrives.

Of course, these schemes don’t always go as planned in Port Charles. Whether Lucas can keep Sidwell talking long enough for Sonny and Laura’s trap to work remains to be seen.
