‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) may return for her daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hayden’s History
Hayden first came to Port Charles to trick “Jake Doe” that the two of them were married. It turned out she was working for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to break up Jake and Liz because Ric was obsessed with Liz.
Jake did not know who he was because he was held captive and brainwashed by the Cassadines. Hayden knew that Jake Doe was Jason Morgan, who was REALLY Drew Cain (Billy Miller).
Hayden fell in love with Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher), and she used him to her advantage. Nikolas knew Drew’s real identity, and she blackmailed him to stay with her.
Hayden decided to get her hands on the Cassadine fortune. She ended up scamming Nikolas into marriage.
Hayden went to tell Jake about his true identity, but Nikolas hired a hitman to shoot Hayden to stop her. Afterward, Hayden and Nikolas divorced.
Hayden fell for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). She became pregnant, and they got engaged. Hayden left him at the altar on their wedding day. Ms. Barnes left Port Charles and only left behind a letter for Finn telling him she had lost the baby.
Hayden did not lose the baby but left town. She returned to town when her little girl, Violet, needed medical care. Finn took care of Violet, and during this part of the story, Hayden confessed that the little girl was Finn’s daughter.
Hayden skipped town and left Violet in Finn’s care; she has been with him since November 2019.
Things have been heating up for Finn and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). There is that pesky lawsuit against Finn in the works. We don’t know how it will affect their relationship.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Domino Effect
So naturally, if one thing goes wrong, it sparks a domino effect, which could spell trouble for Finn and Liz if Hayden returns.
Finn and Elizabeth have been through a lot together, and despite their slow-moving relationship, they have made strides.
They were reluctant to take their relationship to the next level for an excruciatingly long time. It was so long they were starting to bore GH fans to tears.
Finn and Liz went through many ups and downs. Liz has supported Finn with his father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), who is sick with ALS. Now, she is helping him with the lawsuit.
Finn and Hayden share a complicated history and their precious daughter, Violet. Finn was very much in love with her. Making matters worse, Hayden is Liz’s sister. Hayden’s return could be the couple’s final nail in the coffin.
Recently, Rebecca Budig fueled fan speculation when she posted a picture of her and her on-screen daughter, Jophielle Love, together on Instagram.
Indeed, Violet has dreams about her parents getting back together. While Finn is with Elizabeth now, Hayden’s return could reunite the family, especially if Violet decides to play matchmaker.
As soon as the picture was posted, GH fans took to Instagram to share their thoughts on a possible Hayden Barnes return.
