‘General Hospital’ spoilers ask if Britt Westbourne (Kelly Theibaud) may be in over her head as Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) holds the key to her life-sustaining Huntington’s medication.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sidwell Is Currently Supplying Britt With a Life-Sustaining Medication
Not to mention, she owes Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for him getting her medical license reinstated. He fully expects Britt to cooperate with him and the WSB.
Jack wants information on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project. Britt has been doing her best to try to avoid Brennan, but she can’t keep dodging him for long.
Meanwhile, Sidwell is supplying Britt with a miracle drug to keep her Huntington’s in remission. Britt’s life quite literally depends on her loyalty to Sidwell.
Sidwell has proved how dangerous he is by murdering Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) right in front of her. He made it clear that if she crossed him, she would be next.
Jack isn’t as volatile as Sidwell, but he’s still in a position to ruin her life if need be. He’s not going to back down until she gives him what he wants.
Plus, Brennan has threatened Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that he would toss Britt in Steinmaur if he told anyone, especially Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), that he recruited her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Jack hasn’t figured out that Carly knows what he did, but if and when he does, he may make good on his threat and retaliate against Jason, which makes Britt collateral damage.
At least Britt would still be alive, as Sidwell would simply kill her. That said, who is the bigger enemy? Sidwell or Brennan? Right now, it’s a toss-up.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan Could Pull the Plug on Britt’s Medical Career
Jason has been trying to convince Britt to trust him enough to tell him the truth about whatever she’s involved in so that he can help her.
He even offered to try to score Britt a supply of the medicine another way if she gives him a dose; perhaps he can have the formula copied.
However, Britt is too afraid to even allow Jason to help her. Sooner or later, she’s going to have to open up to him so he can get her out of trouble. Maybe their NYE kiss will prompt Britt to put more faith in Jason.
Regardless, Britt needs to determine which side to choose as she’s between a rock and a hard place. If she shares the details of the project she’s working on or the research involved, she risks Sidwell’s wrath.
However, if she doesn’t deliver, Brennan could pull the plug on Britt’s medical career. Britt’s dream ever since she allegedly “died” was to be a doctor again and help people.
Whatever anyone says about Britt, she’s a good doctor. She saved Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) life after he had a heart attack, and her bedside manner with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has been impeccable.
It would definitely be wonderful to see Britt practicing medicine again. Unfortunately, if Britt doesn’t surrender to Brennan’s demands, she may not be doing much of anything, let alone reviving her medical career.
Britt really needs to let Jason come to her rescue and give him what he needs to get her out of this mess so she can move forward with her life.
