General Hospital spoilers reveal that in the September 11th episode of GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) finally got to show her pretty face in Port Charles.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Needs To Make Amends With Britt
Needless to say, every character who saw her had the same reaction, and it was one of pure shock. When Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) saw her precious “Britta,” she fainted into Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) arms.
First, let’s talk the obvious: Britt and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Britt could very well reject Jason at first, as he had dumped her to marry Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Britt is the type of woman who believes in self-preservation. She’s not going to be so quick to give him her whole heart this time.
Jason will no doubt have to make amends for the pain he caused Britt. He’s going to need to prove to Britt that she comes first.
Thiebaud recently dished to Soap Opera Digest and admitted that Britt deserved better than what Jason did to her.
We all know that Jason’s loyalty to Carly has often been the literal spoiler of several of his past relationships. Think: Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
However, Jason and Carly are each other’s ride or die. That’s just the way it is. Whoever becomes romantically involved with Jason should probably try to accept it.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Prepare For Soapy Drama Between Britt And Lulu
While Britt obviously has some very deep feelings for Jason, she wants to tread carefully this time and not repeat her past mistakes.
Thiebaud also predicts that Britt’s reunion with Carly will be filled with tension. Another reunion that we know will be epic is the one between Britt and her “mutta,” Obrecht.
Britt supposedly died in Liesl’s arms. Obviously, Britt has a lot of explaining to do. The viewers, of course, will only likely be given bits at a time.
There will also be a ton of soapy drama between Britt and her nemesis, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning). Spoilers hint that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) will start to get close to Britt.
We all know that will make Lulu both livid and incredibly jealous. Lulu missed out on the first few months of Rocco’s life because Britt raised him.
Plus, Britt stole Lulu and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) embryo, and she is the woman who gave birth to Rocco.
It will be interesting to see what kind of mutually uncomfortable interactions Britt and Lulu have. Additionally, how will Britt fit in at GH?
Will she want her old job back? What would it look like now? Not to mention, the WSB will likely want to speak with her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Who Is Britt’s Mysterious Boss?
The WSB is highly interested in the research she conducted at the Five Poppies. We also believe Britt is connected to Professor Henry Dalton (played by Daniel Goddard).
The mysteries surrounding her work in Croatia will likely also come to light, and we’ll learn exactly how Britt became entangled in this storyline.
We may also finally learn who Britt’s mysterious boss is. Some fans suspect that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) may still be alive and pulling the strings behind the scenes.
However, other fans think Britt’s boss will turn out to be Nathan West (Ryan Paevy). It would be wonderful for Obrecht to have both her children back.
Yet, Obrecht will likely be hurt that Britt didn’t bring her into the loop about the fact that she’s alive. Britt and Obrecht had a close relationship, especially before she “died.”
Thiebaud promised Britt’s homecoming would be epic. Everyone will want to know exactly how she survived “The Hook,” especially the person she saved, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Thiebaud shared,
“There’s still so much story to tell. We still have to explain how she’s still alive!” She marveled at the genius of the show’s executive producer, “Honestly, when I heard what was coming up, I was amazed.”
The actress declared,
“So I know however it comes out, and however it happens, it’s going to be amazing! It’s so creative. I’m so happy with what they came up with and honestly, kudos to Frank Valentini and the writers, because it’s incredible.”
