    General Hospital spoilers for Friday, December 5 reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a problem on his hands. This will also impact Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Plus, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is trying to make things right.

    General Hospital spoilers for Friday, December 5: Bad spot

    First, Sonny is backed into a corner. General Hospital spoilers indicate this is obviously about Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). We saw last time that he has photographic evidence of Sonny helping Laura to get rid of Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) body. So, now Sidwell is going to hold that over Sonny’s head as well. And he knows exactly how to do it, by pointing out that he has evidence to put both him and Laura away. Laura will share the same concern with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

    We imagine Sonny and Laura are going to play ball for now. They both know Sidwell is dangerous and that he’s already pulled off things that can ruin everything for them. So, we imagine this will be a stalling tactic to allow them to find a way to neutralize Sidwell’s power over them.

    General Hospital spoilers for Friday, December 5: Bad state

    Elsewhere, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) leans on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Last time we saw them, she was beyond drunk and wanted him to kiss her. We don’t know what will happen there, but we do know Jason will likely get Britt home safely.

    When they’re at her room, Britt falls over and we assume Jason will be there to pick her up. Since Britt is in the state she’s in, it’s possible she might just start dropping truths she’s been keeping to herself. Obviously, she has reasons to be wary of telling Jason all that’s happening to her, but with her inhibitions lowered, this is likely the best chance he will get the answers he wants.

    General Hospital spoilers for Friday, December 5: Making amends

    In other General Hospital spoilers, Carly tries to make amends. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had warned Carly to give Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) some space before approaching him. This attempt doesn’t look like it’s going to go that well, at least not at first. In the promo, Lucas warns her that she has to accept Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) as a part of his life.

    If Carly is smart, she’ll not argue the point. Especially after the talk she had with Joss. But we imagine it will be so tough for Carly to keep her opinion about Marco to herself.
