‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that this year’s fall preview is filled with shocking returns, a soap vet debuts, a shooting mystery ensues, and a tragic death rocks Port Charles.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Monica’s Death And Tribute
The show has already kicked off Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting storyline, as the list of suspects is endless. We’ll learn more about what really happened as several characters are questioned.
Co-head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten, share that the prime suspect in the investigation is Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
However, they say,
“Sonny’s son is capable of a ruthlessness we’ve never seen before since surviving the firebombing.”
They add,
“He’ll find himself with the upper hand in his war with Drew and Willow, but what will he do with it?”
The scribes divulged that Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) tribute is right around the corner. They explain,
“For most, it will be an occasion for mourning and togetherness, but for a few, it will mark an opportunity to be seized.”
They hinted that the Quartermaine family must contend with someone who has ties to several characters on the canvas.
Soap vet Erika Slezak enters the mix. We predict she’ll play Monica’s sister. Longtime fans know that Monica was adopted by Gail Baldwin (Susan Brown), and we never saw Monica’s biological family.
We think Slezak will make some big claims about her sister’s inheritance. Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) read that letter he found at Drew’s house, and we surmise Slezak will stake her claim to the Quartermaine estate.
We also predict that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will go ballistic when she finds out about Monica’s sister. In other words, while Monica’s funeral will be very moving and poignant, the fallout will produce some very soapy drama.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Nathan Back From The Dead?
Ryan Paevy also returns, and speculation persists that he’ll reprise the role of Nathan West. Nathan died tragically in 2018. However, viewers know that when it comes to soaps, death is never final.
It’s possible that, like his sister, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who died on-screen in January 2020, Nathan may make a shocking comeback.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) believes there is only one person who could have possibly saved Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) children: Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Anna will search for the truth pertaining to Britt and Nathan’s survival. The closer she gets to the truth, the more danger she finds herself in.
Speaking of big comebacks, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) returns, and he and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) will play major roles in the action this fall.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) must deal with the threat to his business posed by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Meanwhile, Sonny’s little game of cat and mouse with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) escalates.
We have to wonder if Justine and Sonny embark on a forbidden romance. In the past, Sonny has romanced various females involved with law enforcement. Sonny and Justine definitely have sparks.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Brennan And Carly’s Romance Survive His Betrayal?
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is walking a tightrope in his romance with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) while secretly enlisting her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), into the WSB.
Additionally, Anna and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are already aware that Joss is working as a spy for the WSB. We all know that men who cross Carly live to regret it. How will Carly feel if she learns that the man she’s been hopelessly falling in love with recruited her daughter?
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) are on the verge of divorce. However, will they come together when a trial threatens to destroy their lives?
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos), and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) search for answers regarding Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) whereabouts. Will they uncover the truth?
Finally, tragedy forces Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) to be brought together over the death of Monica, which gives Lois a chance to make amends with her daughter.
