‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Can Danny Convince Drew To Allow Scout To Come To Monica’s Funeral?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has gone to great lengths to keep Scout Quartermaine’s (Cosette Abinate) family away from her and isolate her from the people who love her the most.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew Issued Restraining Orders Against Scout’s Entire Family

Drew issued restraining orders against Scout’s brothers, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

He also has restraining orders against Scout’s grandmother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and her two daughters, who also happen to be the late Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) sisters.

However, in the September 17th episode of GH, a tragedy occurred as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) discovered that his mother and beloved Quartermaine family matriarch, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), had passed away.

Jason walked downstairs with a somber look on his face and informed Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) that Monica was gone.

Leslie Charlson and Monica’s tribute have been a long time coming on the soap. The actress passed away in real life in January of this year.

The one consolation Scout has is that she was able to see her grandmother shortly before her passing.

Scout has been understandably depressed and missing her brothers since Drew has banned her from seeing them.

She’s been trying to find ways to visit the Quartermaines and see them, but the last time she did that, Drew almost had Danny arrested for kidnapping.

It was deplorable what Drew did to Scout and her family. Drew is like the tin man who lacks a heart or the Grinch whose heart was “two sizes too small.” Do we really expect him to change his mind just because a beloved family member died?

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Scout Will Be Heartbroken If She Misses Her Grandmother’s Funeral

Scout will be heartbroken if she’s forced to miss her grandmother’s funeral, and we hope that someone will be able to convince Drew to put his daughter first for a change.

We certainly can’t expect Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to be the voice of reason. She’s just as coldhearted as Drew is. That became evident when she agreed to allow Drew to frame Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for the shooting.

That said, the person who will try to step up for Scout will be her brother, Danny. He knows that Scout needs all the support she can get, and he also knows that Drew won’t give it to her.

Congressman Cutthroat will no doubt argue that he can help Scout grieve for her grandmother. Truthfully, Drew isn’t compassionate enough to help Scout grieve over the loss of a goldfish.

Sam’s memorial service was profoundly moving and at least gave Scout a chance to say goodbye to her mother. She will want to be present for Monica’s funeral as well.

Danny is determined to save his sister from Drew’s evil clutches, and he’ll try his best to persuade Drew that she belongs at that funeral with the rest of the family.

However, maybe the only person who can truly evoke some emotion in Drew is his own daughter.

Perhaps Scout’s pleas will resonate with her father. The poor kid’s mother is gone, and now her grandmother has also passed. She needs to be with her family now more than ever.
