‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers predict that, as of this writing, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) doesn’t yet know about Willow Corinthos‘s (Katelyn MacMullen) betrayal of her son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). It’s only a matter of time before she finds out.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: “Like Mother, Like Daughter”
Carly and Willow have always had a close bond, but that may change when the truth comes out about Willow’s affair with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).
Once the cat is out of the bag, Carly will be livid and probably lose her temper with Willow, to say the least. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow’s mother, and if Carly goes off on Willow, Mama Bear won’t be too happy.
While there is no love lost between Carly and Nina, the two have been on surprisingly decent terms since the SEC debacle.
The two women used to be at each other’s throats, but they have put their feud aside for Willow’s sake. If Carly blasts Willow for cheating, all bets will be off for Nina, who will no doubt fiercely defend her daughter.
Nina will likely mention that Carly is no saint, either. She may even throw her past mistakes in her face. That won’t go over well with Carly, who will blast Nina and Willow.
Carly may also soon learn that not only has Willow slept with Drew, but Nina has dug her claws into him several times, despite Nina being the reason Drew went to prison to protect Carly. If the altercation turns nasty, Carly may point out, “Like mother like daughter.”
Spoilers suggest Carly won’t be the only one to discover a dirty little secret. Willow still doesn’t yet know about Drew and Nina sleeping together, but she soon will. How will she feel about her mother’s affair with her so-called knight in shining armor?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly’s High Opinion OF Willow Will Change
Not to mention how all this could hurt Drew’s political career if the public gets wind of this mess. Rumors will be swirling that he’s just another sleazy politician. Maybe he won’t be headed for Washington after all.
The situation will get heated. Carly’s opinion that Willow walks on water will be history. Speaking of history, Carly and Nina have a lot of it, and none of it is good.
Remember their showdown after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) came home from Nixon Falls and Carly discovered that Nina knew Sonny was alive all along?
The two women have despised each other ever since, and that’s bound to contribute to Carly’s animosity toward Willow.
Another “Like mother, like daughter” duo, is Carly and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Joss will likely feel the same way toward Willow that Carly will.
Michael’s family generously welcomed Willow with open arms and loved her. They went through her leukemia ordeal and never left her side when she almost died.
It’s hard to imagine that after they treated Willow lovingly, they would take kindly to her betrayal of Michael.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) knows about Willow and Drew, and soon Carly will know, too. It was fun watching Jason punch Drew! Spoilers hint that Carly will explode on Willow sometime in the very near future. Get the popcorn ready!
