‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has big plans, Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Bernard and Laura Wright) continue to fight, Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) is seeing the writing on the wall, and the trial continues. If you missed it, let’s get to your ‘General Hospital’ recap.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Writing on the wall
Dev and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are doing their homework when Sonny comes along. After Joss assures him she’s back on the perfect student path, and he gives Dev a break from the warehouse, the pair is left alone again to go back to their essays.
Dev isn’t feeling this, though. Before Joss eventually decides to call it a day, they talk a bit and a admits to feeling in the way, both at home and at work. He’s flashing back to Carly wanting to send him to boarding school and starts talking about how he’s sorry for the way he acted before, and it sounds like a goodbye. Joss doesn’t seem to pick up on that, but she does assure him he’s not in the way. Once he’s alone, he starts searching online for tickets to Montreal.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Needing peace
Back at the Corinthos’, Carly Corinthos is going over boarding school info and even chats with someone about an interview. She’s interrupted by Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), who wants to know how things are going on her way to pick up Wiley Cooper-Jones. She hasn’t heard about Carly’s birth plan yet, and it’s getting close to the due date. Carly admits to having a C-section scheduled. This causes so many questions that Carly almost spills the beans about the baby’s condition.
Ultimately, she backs out and makes something else up. She explains to Sonny, who’d arrived just as the interrogation was ending, that she couldn’t bring herself to do it. They don’t know the extent of the condition yet, and she wants peace in her last weeks of pregnancy.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: More infighting
Easier said. Sonny notices the boarding school info and Carly tells him about a place she thinks is a great fit. They want to talk to him as well. Sonny is annoyed, because he never actually agreed to do this. Carly once more stresses how this situation can’t work long-term. Joss is lying to Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and everyone at school. So is Dev.
He suggests the idea of letting Joss live with Jax for a while, which just ticks off Carly. She refuses to uproot her daughter for a guy they hardly know, and she thinks Sonny is putting Dev over her own daughter. They eventually come to a bit of a truce, but this is going to get ugly one of these days.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Restless reporter
Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is over covering the Lifestyle section and begs Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to talk to her editor about going on the crime beat. He’s willing to talk about it, but only if she’s not going to go all vigilante like last time. She agrees, and suggests possibly covering Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) trial. While they talk, Peter makes a slip that gets Lulu on Maxie’s you-know-what.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Big plans
Peter, obviously, mentioned the possibility of Maxie moving up in the publishing world. Lulu wants to know if she’s leaving Crimson, but Maxie denies that. She loves working there. However, as Lulu prods more, Maxie reveals a ton of plans for what her own magazine would look like, which leads Lulu to joke that she hasn’t thought about this at all. Maxie again tries to point out the reasons why it would be bad to go off on her own, but Lulu is encouraging.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Turning tide?
At the trial, Shiloh Archer is questioned about The Trust, and suddenly things aren’t looking as horrible for the people of Port Charles. He is trapped into not being able to deny that he slept with everyone who went into the trust, and his speculation on Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) intentions for joining up with Dawn of Day bring objections and makes him look bad. But none of this might matter in the long run.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Questions
Peter is talking to his goon about taking care of the situation. Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) ends up overhearing enough of the conversation to get his suspicions up. He chats Peter up a bit and asks some questions, then suggests a double date so he can get to know the new man in Maxie’s life. Peter is down for that, and leaves. Spinelli jumps into action, calling someone to trace a call that came from his location.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Is there a problem?
Peter August’s goon approaches the guard with Shiloh and claims that his return to Pentonville will be a two-man operation. It’s supposedly a last-minute decision from the warden, so the guard goes along with it. Shortly after, Sam and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are speaking to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) about their chances of winning and Robert’s desire for there to be legal justice in this case only. After he leaves Sam’s a little annoyed that he would say that, but Jason admits he’s planning to take other measures if Shiloh walks.
They may have to. Because while they speak, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) rushes over and informs them that Shiloh never made it to Pentonville. Later, we see Shiloh in a cop uniform as he pulls over Bobbie. She asks if there’s a problem. Um… Bobbie, you have no idea.
