‘General hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is conflicted about the job ahead, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are both stressing their futures, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is contemplating her next step. Also, everyone’s visiting Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) and the trial of Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) begins. If you missed it, let’s get to your ‘General Hospital’ recap.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Living a lie
Sasha Gilmore has a very bleak outlook on her future. As she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) talk, she reveals that she’s sure Nina will have her arrested when she learns the truth. Maxie and everyone else will hate her, too. Michael thinks it’s not as bleak as she thinks it is, then fills her in on some of Maxie’s old lies to make her see she’s not as horrible as she thinks.
Maxie turned herself around, and Sasha can as well. Plus, she had good motives behind what she did. As far as Port Charles crime goes, this is nothing in his opinion. He promises to get her a lawyer so they can figure out the best way to do this.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: The past lives
Nina is also afraid for her future. Cassandra Pierce is back in town and can tell everyone how Nina drugged her and left her for dead. She thinks she’s also on her way to jail, and Maxie is going to be taking her place at Crimson. Are we absolutely sure they’re not related? Because they really are sounding like the same person today with their doom and gloom scenarios.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Supergirl Maxie
As for Maxie Jones, Nina is very impressed to learn that Maxie actually finished the latest issue under budget. Not only that, but she’s increased productivity by making some changes to their staff meeting format. Nina can’t thank her enough, and Maxie is just about to admit she’s thinking of making a career change when Sasha arrives. That basically cuts Maxie off mid-sentence, and they don’t get back to it today. The look on Nina’s face is going to be epic when she learns Maxie’s thinking of jumping ship.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Second thoughts
Spinelli makes his return to Port Charles, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has a job for him. He explains Shiloh’s phone call and wants Spinelli to look into the link between him and Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Damian Spinelli ends up expressing some doubt later on. Maxie really cares about Peter and seems pretty sure about his character. Jason counters that Maxie has been wrong before. If he’s a problem, she needs to know about this. For her sake, and the kids’.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Big mistake
Sonny is one of several visitors for Cassandra today. She’s trying to cut deals with all of them, but Sonny isn’t impressed with her. He thinks she made a big mistake coming back to Port Charles. Even more so, by targeting someone close to his son.
Michael could’ve ended up getting that virus instead. Cassandra thinks he needs to readjust his thinking. There’s a lot of people out there who think he’s outgrown his role and they want what he has. Sonny isn’t intimidated and suggests she have a nice whatever’s left of her life.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Eating crow
After failing to get through to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Cassandra has decided that she’s going to fight extradition and calls for help to pay her retainer. The person on the other end must be calling out her mistake, because Cassandra is somewhat contrite and admits she was stupid to come here.
She wants help, though, and insists that this person will be sold up the river if she doesn’t get what she needs. Later, a retainer is sent to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee-Grahn), who will be helping Cassandra delay her extradition.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Trial fail
Finally, Peter and the rest of Port Charles better hope his assassin does his job, because the legal system might not. The trial opens today, and it’s not going well for the prosecution. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has her con-artist past brought up, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has to admit she consented, and Harmony (Inga Cadranel) is called out for being in jail over drugging women.
If Shiloh was guilty, he should already be there with her, and protecting him looks like she’s just looking for an out in a situation that turned out to be harder than she thought it would. As for Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth), her story has no evidence to support it, because they don’t have the cup.
