If you’ve been following the Gabby Petito case then you will know that she went missing around August 27th, 2021 and that was the last time anyone reported seeing her alive.

After that, Gabby’s parents got texts from her but it didn’t sound like they were from Gabby, considering she called her Grandpa “Stan” by his first name instead of calling him “Grandpa”, her Mother said in an interview with Dr. Phil that when she heard that Brian Laundrie had come back to Florida on the 6th of September with Gabby’s van, without Gabby, she knew something was wrong.

‘Additional People’ could be charged in Gabby Petito case

Brian Laundrie himself went missing on September 13th, 2021 after his parents said that he had gone to the Carlton Reserve and specifically mentioned the Myakkahatchee Creek part of the reserve as where Brian may have gone.

However, they did not contact Gabby’s family, or the police when Brian went missing, instead, they contacted the family lawyer and kept quiet causing the court of public opinion to run wild on the case. For quite a few weeks it was thought that Brian’s parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, were hiding her son out.

Even his sister Cassie was suspicioned, but it turned out in the end that Brian’s disappearance was just a decision he made… and that sometime after September 13th Brian Laundrie died of a single gunshot wound to the head.

The cause of death was not immediately apparent as his remains had been in the wild animal park for five weeks and there was not much to be had except a partial skull and a few bones. Laundrie was never charged with the disappearance and death of Gabby Petito, but rather remained a person of interest… until now.

Now the Petito family attorney says that there could be charges pending for ‘other people’ in the case, but did not specify whom. The attorney gave no clue as to who else might be involved or who might know something.

We can only speculate that Brian’s family might be named, as well as the police department that evaluated the domestic altercation between Gabby and Brian a few days before her disappearance – but that is only speculation, not fact. We at DSD will keep you updated on any further developments – stay tuned!!!
