If you’ve been following the Brian Laundrie case, you’ll know that most recently skeletal remains identified to be his were found in the Carlton Reserve down in Florida after Laundrie went on the lam for five weeks when his girlfriend, Gabby Petito, ended up missing and was discovered dead of strangulation.
He was the main suspect in the case and no one still has any clues as to what could have motivated Laundrie to kill her in such a horrific fashion. So far, there has been no mention of a suicide note even though a notebook was found among his belongings beside the remains. No word as to what’s inside it yet, but Brian was an artist, so there’s really no telling.
Did Brian Laundrie post his suicide note to facebook?
However, one clue that people are noticing now is Brian’s last social media post he made to facebook before his disappearance. “Finally heading out all will be explained one day I need some time. To my parents I love you.” that was the final post he wrote, no more after that.
Now, this did not imply that he was going to kill himself, at least not outright, it just implied that he was going to take off. Usually when someone says they “need some time” that just means that they need some space to figure things out and they’ll be back. He said “All will be explained one day.” which implies that there’s more to the story… so it begs the question, does that notebook hold the answers that we’ve been looking for?
Another good question is, where are Gabby’s phone and computer and all of her things that he allegedly emptied out of the storage locker on August 27th, certainly they must be somewhere. It was speculated at one time that the reason the Laundrie’s went to the Carlton Reserve was to burn evidence but it looks like that may not be the case since they were being so heavily scrutinized and had cameras on them for a lot of the time when they were at the reserve.
However, this wouldn’t be the first time that the investigation has missed things, apparently when the police department said in the press release that they knew exactly where Brian Laundrie was and had eyes on him – they apparently mistaked Roberta Laundrie for Brian.
We’re honestly not sure how that could have happened. So… was this Brian’s sucide note? A short, simple goodbye on facebook? Until we know the content of the notebook, this may be all we’re getting. Stay tuned!!!
