You would think that self-cancellation would offer some protection for a former YouTuber, but that was not the case for Jenna Marbles and hubby Julien Solomita. Back a couple of years ago, Jenna Marbles decided to completely leave social media after some old, unfavorable videos cropped up.
Her husband, Julien Solomita recently posted on his social media that they got married and even posted some wedding pictures, which all of her former followers were enraptured by. She looked really good, it would seem that that permanent social media vacation is exactly what the doctor ordered and Jenna looked happier than ever in her wedding photos.

Of course, we didn’t know then just what she was dealing with. On January 2nd, 2023, after two months of harassment, a stalker broke into Jenna and Julien’s home. Julien posted on his IG story assuring followers that both he and Jenna were safe and that he actually managed to spray the would-be assailant with pepper spray.
He said that the only reason he went public with it was that there was a news outlet that was going to release it otherwise but didn’t say which news outlet it was.
Solomita said that the stalker was a woman and that while they were a complete stranger they had been harassing Jenna and Julien for the last two months so they did know who they were. Fortunately, the police were called and the suspect was nabbed promptly. Authorities say that once the woman is released from the hospital she will be taken to jail.
The thing is, Jenna and Julien don’t even post daily vlogs, they didn’t post their wedding journey and they’re not regulars on social media. Julien has twitch streams every now and again but nothing like Jenna’s former YouTube following was.
So to think that someone was stalking them for the in past two months for no apparent reason is insane. Jenna didn’t even have this problem when she was prominent on social media, what on earth could have prompted a crazed fan to go after her in the last two months, was it just the wedding?
