‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate that, sadly, Billy Flynn’s exit as Chad DiMera is imminent, and it’s coming sooner than fans think.

Flynn’s impending exit means that the new Chad, played by Conner Floyd, will step into the role; there will likely be a period of time in which Chad is off the show to prepare the audience for the new face playing the part.
For the record, we’re not happy that Billy Flynn is leaving the show. Not only is he easy on the eyes, but he’s a proven actor and fits the role of Chad like a glove.
We like Flynn’s portrayal of Chad and hope Conner Floyd does justice to Chad DiMera. Conner Floyd starts his DOOL run in April. Meanwhile, Billy Flynn will definitely be missed.
Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) is anxious to move away with Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) and head to Boston.
However, that doesn’t mean that Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) wants to do the same. Charlotte loves her father and isn’t falling in line with Jennifer’s ridiculousness, unlike Thomas.
Jennifer is actually trying to sue Chad for custody of his kids, which is totally absurd. Chad is a loving, stable parent, and no judge in their right mind would grant custody to an angry grandmother whose major beef is that she doesn’t like the woman who their father used to date.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Thomas Refuses to Forgive His Father, and Cary Christopher Has Left the Show
Thomas’s behavior toward his father is appalling, as Jennifer and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) have been nothing but unbearable toward Chad since he dated Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord).
However, their relationship is over now. It should no longer be an issue. Yet, Jennifer is poised for battle and ready to take Chad’s children away from their only living parent.
Chad isn’t a danger to his kids. Thomas was with Jennifer when he threw a hissy fit and ran out into the middle of the road like a doodad and was hit by a car. But we digress.
In our opinion, Thomas should stay home and start therapy sessions with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). His behavior is almost as bratty as Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey).
Plus, he’s likely still traumatized by the death of his mom, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). Thomas hasn’t properly worked through his grief, and the stunt he and Rachel pulled on Halloween could have killed someone.
While Thomas refuses to forgive his father, Charlotte is another story. Jennnifer is insisting that she’s taking Chad’s kids, come hell or high water.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad May Move to Boston to Be Closer to His Kids
In reality, Jennifer’s custody petition wouldn’t fly, and she would lose in court. However, this is the land of Salem, where stranger things have happened. We predict that Jennifer will somehow be awarded custody, even if only for a period of time.
The peacock soap may have Billy Flynn’s Chad move to Boston to be close to his kids. That way, when he returns as Conner Floyd’s Chad, he can be introduced with a fresh start.
We’re also unsure whether the show plans to recast Thomas, since Cary Christopher has officially left the role.
It could end up that Thomas remains in Boston with Jennifer, while Charlotte comes home with her daddy. Charlotte is a sweet kid and isn’t holding an unreasonable grudge against her father.
It looks like Jennifer may be given custody of the kids after all, and Chad may decide to move to Boston to be close to his children.
Chad is a wonderful father and has proven he’s willing to put his kids first. If he has to, he’ll leave Salem for a while as the dust settles and try to make the best of it in Boston.
