‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that Cary Christopher, who plays Thomas DiMera on DOOL, recently confirmed that he’s leaving the Peacock soap.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Christopher Portrayed The Role Of Chad DiMera’s Young Son, Thomas DiMera
Christopher portrayed Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) young son, who recently threw a temper tantrum and demanded that Chad break up with Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord).
Cat pretended to be Thomas’s mother and late wife, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). Chad eventually forgave Cat, and the two started dating.
Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) blabbed the news to Thomas because she was miffed that Thomas was beating her in a game of Monopoly.
In a Facebook post, Christopher explained his reason for leaving the show, “Yes. It is true. I left Days of Our Lives several months ago because I booked a role as a series regular for a new show coming to Amazon Prime in 2026.”
Christopher posted some photos from his time working on the show. He reflected upon his experience, “Days of Our Lives was such a dream set to work on.”
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Christopher Has Been Playing On DOOL Since He Was Four Years Old
He gushed, “I started on this beloved soap when I was just 4. How lucky am I that I got to call it my home for almost 6 years?”
Christopher has been faced with a very difficult choice and made a very adult decision to move forward in his career, challenge himself as an actor, and pursue other opportunities. He has some projects coming soon.
He can be seen in an upcoming live-action series of Spider Noir in 2026. Plus, he’ll have a major role in an upcoming series for the DC Universe.
The kid is a gifted and accomplished actor. You may have caught him in other roles, such as a child named Gavin Reed, who witnessed a murder in the primetime show, “High Potential” starring actress, Katilin Olson.
He also appeared in a Pringles commercial during the 2024 Super Bowl. He made his film debut playing the only surviving student named Alex Lily in the horror flick, Weapons. The movie will start streaming on HBO Max soon.
In two weeks, you can also catch Christopher as a guest star in the show, Chicago Med. As you can probably guess, Christopher left DOOL to work on other projects. Talent like his doesn’t come along every day!
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The Young Actor Had Nothing But Praise And Love For His On-Screen Dad, Billy Flynn
Christopher had nothing but praise and kind words for his DOOL dad, Billy Flynn, who plays Chad DiMera. “I will always hold a lot of memories from being on Days and of Billy Flynn.”
He had a heartfelt message for Flynn, “I got to share a nice goodbye. Billy, you were the best TV dad a kid could have. It always was so great working with you and learning from you.”
To his DOOL fans, the young actor expressed his gratitude, “And thank you, Days fans! You are all the best.” The soap tapes very far in advance, and we should still see Thomas on the show for a while.
No word yet on whether a recast comes on. Perhaps, Thomas will make good on his threat to leave Salem and move to Boston with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves).
Thomas told his dad last week that if Cat didn’t leave town, then he would. Jack and Jennifer seemed eager for him to come with them.
It’s going to be interesting to see where Thomas’s story goes from here. You can catch Christopher on DOOL next on October 22nd and October 31st. His final airdate has not yet been confirmed.
