‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers say there’s a very good chance that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) might end up with the love of his life, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) after all.
As a matter of fact, DOOL Head Writer Ron Carlivati teases in the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest a surprise wedding for Salem’s most unexpected couple might end up making things official this year. That is, if they can avoid all of the twists and turns that are about to come their way. Read on for all of the latest spoilers.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Xander Going To Marry Sarah?
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, DOOL Head Writer Ron Carlivati teases what’s ahead for reformed bad boy Xander and the brunette beauty.
He said, “When the story with Philip laundering money shakes out, Xander doesn’t get the pat on the head and the thank-you he expects from Victor, so it makes Xander want to break from Titan. By breaking from that, what does he have left? He has Sarah. The one thing he knows he wants to do is marry Sarah.”
Speaking of Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), it looks like he has some heavy involvement in the Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) drama.
Carlivati continued, “We know there are a lot of Jake and Gabi fans out there but we wanted this couple to have an obstacle to overcome and the obstacle is Kate. I always thought an interesting fourth element, making it a quadrangle, would be Philip. He’s floating around out there, he is Kate’s son, and it seemed logical to put him into the story — and it seems like an opportunity for Gabi to get under Jake and Kate’s skin.”
