First, Days of Our Lives indicate tragedy. It seems Xander is there for a devastated Sarah. We assume that means her new patient that collapsed in the square didn’t survive. So, obviously Sarah is going to take this hard. She might even question if she could have done more to keep this from happening.
We imagine the shared experience will bring Xander and Sarah closer together, even though we don’t believe they’ll actually get back together. Not yet, at least. And since Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) warning to Xander wasn’t about Sarah, we assume this moment will make Xander more convinced they have a chance. Which will lead to Marlena telling himself it’s delusional to believe there’s a future for him and Sarah.

Elsewhere, Abe, Lexie, and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) enjoy time as a family. They better enjoy it, if another teaser for the day is any indication. Anyway, it should be a sweet fun moment. However, we can’t help but be a bit weirded out by this whole thing. It feels like Abe seamlessly went from a marriage and a life with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) to living with and kissing Lexie. It’s like they rushed through a lot of processing and potential drama in Abe being conflicted.

In other Days of Our Lives spoilers, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) bond. We’re guessing this has to do with JJ wanting to transition to working for the Salem Fire Department. Javi already does, so it’s not surprising that these two are going to bond over this. And we wouldn’t be surprised if Javi and JJ end up partners as well. Should be interesting, too, with Javi’s new man also applying. Either the Fire Department is going to more staffed than the Salem PD, or there is a competition ahead to get an open spot.

Finally, Rolf gives EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) disturbing news. We know Rolf was going to be going over Lexie’s chart and running blood tests. With the mouse from the animal trials now dead, it looks like this family reunion will be short-lived.
