‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease there’s a very good chance that ‘General Hospital’ alum Tamara Braun (Kim Nero) might make the jump to Salem. As a matter of fact, there’s some speculation that the brunette beauty is looking to reprise her role as Ava Vitali, which would surely make things interesting for fellow Salemites. Here’s what you need to know.
Actress Tamara Braun made it no secret that she was basically blindsided when she was told by ‘General Hospital’ producers that her character Kim Nero would be written off the show. Clearly, she was enjoying the riveting storyline that her character was a part of and that’s why the sudden move to take Kim off the canvas came as a shock.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Tamara Braun is completely done. As a daytime television veteran, she has been on many shows in the past, with one of her most memorable ones being Ava Vitali on ‘Days of Our Lives’. Seeing how she doesn’t have anything in the pipeline right now, could there be a possibility that she will reprise this role in the near future? Perhaps.
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a recent interview, Tamara explained that being a soap star is basically in her blood. She told the publication, “Soaps have been a big part of my acting life, so of course I’d be open to (repeating the experience). When Albert Alarr (Days of Our Lives’ co-executive producer) told me that my character, Ava, was dying, I was like, ‘Really? You’re killing her?’ and he responded, ‘C’mon, no one’s ever (truly) dead in soaps,’ so maybe she’s not.”
So, does this mean that Tamara might surprise us all by making the shift to NBC real soon? Let’s hope so! For now fans will simply have to continue tuning in to ‘Days of Our Lives’ for all of the latest action. In the meantime we will definitely keep our fingers crossed.
