‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that on the Thursday, April 16th, episode of DOOL, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) met up with Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) on a park bench and shared what her revenge plot against EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) would entail.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kristen Demanded Sophia Kill Johnny
Kristen demanded that Sophia kill EJ’s son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). When an understandably shocked Sophia expressed to Kristen that her plan was way too extreme, Kristen quickly asserted control and threatened Sophia into compliance.
Our jaws literally dropped to the floor when we realized how far Kristen planned on going to get her revenge on EJ. It’s “just a little” over the top.
While we hate to agree with Sophia, she was right to react the way she did. Plus, Kristen is being ridiculous with her blaming EJ for Rachel Black’s (Lorelei Olvia Mote) entire situation.
After all, Rachel did shoot EJ. That said, Kristen is correct that none of this would have happened had EJ not “disappeared” Rachel’s grandmother.
However, shooting EJ wasn’t the first time Rachel’s behavior was out of control. She helped her grandmother hold her father, Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) then-girlfriend, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) hostage at Aremid.
Rachel almost killed two people: her uncle EJ and Brady’s current girlfriend, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). That’s not counting Halloween when she tossed a pumpkin off a catapult, aiming for Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord).
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rachel Has Committed Dangerous Acts and Needs Help
Rachel accidentally hit Alex Kirakis (Robert Scott Wilson) instead. In the incident with Sarah, she switched her own pistachio ice cream with Sarah’s, knowing that Sarah is deathly allergic to pistachios. After Rachel shot EJ, he was trapped in a coma.
So, it makes sense for Rachel to get mental health treatment. She’s committed several dangerous acts and desperately needs help.
However, Kristen’s idea to kill Johnny to hurt EJ is unconscionable. It will genuinely break EJ’s heart. While I love Kristen and Stacy Haiduk, I can’t really see how Kristen could actually do this to EJ or Johnny.
While Kristen is furious at EJ for his role in Rachel being sent to a psychiatric institution, Kristen’s revenge plot involving Sophia went from being fun to dark and disturbing.
Murder was not at all what Sophia had in mind. It’s perfectly clear that Kristen is the brains of the operation here, and Sophia is the fall guy.
Obviously, Kristen will let Sophia, who is a kid herself, go down for murder. Yes, Sophia has done terrible things herself, and she’s no angel, but she’s only a teenager. Ordering Sophia to kill Johnny like she’s carrying out a mob hit isn’t cool.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Should Sophia Go to EJ and Tell Him About Kristen’s Plan?
We wish Sophia had recorded the conversation and blackmailed EJ for it. Yet, we all know Sophia is nowhere near as clever as Kristen. However, EJ would undoubtedly kill Kristen. But there must be something this teenage twit can do other than agree to murder someone.
At least it would spare EJ the pain of losing Johnny. It would have also explained Stacy Haiduk’s upcoming break from DOOL.
However, Sophia was on board with the plan as long as Kristen gave her some “additional supplies” to carry out her own revenge on Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).
Kristen cannot be thinking clearly here. She’s ordering a teenager to kill her brother’s son because she believes he’s responsible for her daughter being committed. Yet, Rachel did, in fact, demonstrate some disturbing behavior.
And since Kristen knows that Bayview isn’t a good place for Rachel, why didn’t she put her into a better facility? We empathize with Rachel being sent into a mental institution, given that she is just a kid.
Kristen’s plan isn’t simply devious. It’s some next- level sh*t way past the point of devious. It’s downright despicable. Kristen’s rationalization here is that EJ took her daughter from her, and now she’s taking his son.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Carson Boatman and Raven Bowens are Leaving DOOL-So Are Both Characters Being Killed off?
EJ doesn’t deserve to lose his son. Maybe we could understand Kristen’s level of vengeance if EJ had accidentally hurt Rachel physically or killed her. Yet, Kristen is free to visit Rachel whenever she wants at Bayview. Rachel has been deeply traumatized, but she’ll eventually be okay.
The worst part of this isn’t even that Kristen has gone off the rails; it’s that Carson Boatman and Raven Bowens are both leaving DOOL. The actors were let go from the Peacock soap in January.
Johnny may very well be killed here. Not to mention, it’s highly likely that Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) has cancer. She was warned that her pregnancy was high-risk.
Soaps don’t just have characters randomly feel lumps for no reason. DOOL could very well be setting up a Romeo and Juliet-type scenario with this?
Could both Johnny and Chanel die from hugely tragic circumstances? That said, EJ has somehow miraculously figured out how to bring people back from the dead.
EJ and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) developed a miracle cure. Like I suggested yesterday with Chanel, perhaps EJ could save his family. It would be a much better ending than what I fear is going to play out. Kristen DiMera is out for blood, and she’s not going to back down until she destroys EJ for good.
