‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, May 23 reveal Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) has some breaking news for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Meanwhile, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) wants answers. We’ll also see Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) putting the pieces together. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For Thursday, May 23: Update
First, we said that night out wasn’t going to end well, and it didn’t. Stephanie will have to tell Chad that Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) was arrested for assaulting Eric. We can just imagine Chad’s reaction to his Editor punching out the new photographer in public!
This will definitely be a bit of a headache for him as this whole mess plays out. But the incident will have a possible good side to it. More of that in a minute.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For Thursday, May 23: Truth time
Speaking of Eric, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) is the reason Eric got punched to begin with. Everett seeing the confrontation between Eric and a drunk Sloan clearly triggered a past memory and made him react.
Well, now Eric demands some explanations from Sloan about the way she has been acting. There’s a lot to question lately, with the sudden disappearing act to get drunk being at the top of his mind, we’re sure. Especially, as we said, it resulted in him getting punched!
We assume this is going to be what forces Sloan to finally come clean with Eric—partly, anyway. Looks like she’ll see no way forward and decide to take EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) offer. She just better hope he will honor this deal better than when he made a similar promise to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For Thursday, May 23: Answers
Finally, Marlena figures out what is really happening with Everett. We assume they mean she’ll realize he has an alter. She might also think back on his sessions and possibly connect the dots between things he said (and didn’t say) with what was going on right before he punched Eric.
We’re curious to see if this time at the Salem PD will make Everett rethink quitting therapy. It could be the very thing that saves him from worse problems in the future. At least, we’d think landing behind bars would be a big wake-call moment that tells you it’s time to stop running from whatever is in his past.
