    ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, December 9 reveal Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) might have hope after all. Meanwhile, Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) isn’t having it. Plus, things get more complicated for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Here’s what you need to know.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For Monday, December 9: Hope lives?

    First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Leo and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) got off to a good start, but things quickly went south. We thought Leo might have had yet another disappointment in love, but maybe this isn’t quite over yet.

    Teasers say he is surprised when Javi is the one to show him some sympathy. We assume Leo’s still stewing about the Lady Whistleblower thing and from that confrontation with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo).

    He was not happy to sit and listen to someone being accused of a crime that might not have committed. And we’re sure he’s extra sensitive to that right now after what happened with Javi. So, he’ll really be feeling down and we guess this could be step one to a reconciliation. We hope so.

    In other news, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) over his interference with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins). But, despite Johnny giving in, this plan could crumble anyway. Why? Because Kate gets in his way. We figured she wasn’t going to just sit back and accept one of her actors bailing like that.

    Especially when they’ve already have enough complications behind the scenes. So, we think Kate is going to lay down the law with Joy and make it clear she’s not going anywhere. We hope so, anyway. We like Joy and think she has potential in Salem, even when Body and Soul is no more.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For Monday, December 9: Complications

    Finally, Johnny has already had a couple of close calls with the Joy situation. Now, he’s going to have to talk his way out of another! It seems Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) walks in on Johnny and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) in the middle of an argument. That, obviously, is about Alex being angry that Joy’s getting run out of town.

    Since the ‘Day of Days’ promo makes it clear things are still good between Johnny and Chanel for a while yet, it’s clear they’ll make some excuse. And we know Alex doesn’t want to be the one to tell the truth and hurt Chanel.
