‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) have decided to get a divorce and move on from each other.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Shawn Is Still Coping With Guilt Over Shooting Bo
Shawn shot his father, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), because he believed Bo was going to hurt his mother, Hope Brady (Kristen Alfonso).
Shawn freaks out and cheats on Belle with Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) sister, Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian). He also depended heavily on alcohol to numb his pain.
Shawn is still coping with his feelings of guilt. Not just for shooting his father and leaving him in a coma but because of his part in dismantling his marriage to Belle. He’s still working on his complex emotions with a therapist.
He told Belle that he didn’t deserve her and admitted that even if he was able to overcome his crippling sense of guilt, he wasn’t sure he’d ever be the same again.
Meanwhile, Belle hurt Shawn by flirting and eventually sleeping with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) while they were still married.
Based on the Day of Days preview, it looked like the soap plans to reunite Belle and EJ just in time for Hurricane Sami Brady (Allison Sweeny) to come home.
Belle now has the opportunity to find out who she is without Shawn, which means she may start dating again. At first, we thought the soap was poised to create a love triangle between Belle, EJ, and Phillip.
However, it looks like Days will also involve Phillip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) in a love triangle with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), as Phillip and Stephanie shared a kiss in the preview.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Belle And Shawn Will Go In Different Directions…. For Now
As for whoever said, “Time heals all wounds,” it’s not the case for Belle and Shawn. When they discussed the state of their marriage, they clearly couldn’t repair the damage they inflicted on each other.
The couple had been apart for about a year. However, it wasn’t only a physical separation; their faith in one another and trust in each other had vanished.
Now, they are both headed in different directions. They agreed that an amicable divorce was in both of their best interests.
Belle and Shawn’s divorce will free them both to pursue other people. Obviously, Belle and EJ will start sleeping together.
EJ has been single since Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) dumped him. Still, he did have that one-night stand with his brother, Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) wife, Gabi Herandez (Cherie Jimenez) that ended in disaster.
Belle and EJ didn’t turn into anything serious before, but that could change if EJ behaves. In the preview, Belle throws a drink at EJ’s face, indicating that EJ messes up with Belle big time.
Days spoilers suggest Shawn and Belle are nowhere near done. Soon, Belle will get updates about her father, John Black (Drake Hogestyn), and she may want a comforting shoulder to cry on. We think it’s inevitable that Shawn and Belle will find their way back to each other, and they will be even stronger.
