‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest that it may take a miracle for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to forgive his father, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), this time.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: EJ Went Too Far When He Went After Chanel
EJ went too far when he went after Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) in court. The video incriminating Chanel was an obvious deepfake.
We all know that Chanel never made death threats against EJ. Due to his selfish desperation, EJ could have been responsible for Johnny’s wife landing behind bars.

Johnny made it clear to his father that he wouldn’t be his defense attorney any longer. Instead, he chose to represent himself.
Prior to his attack on Chanel, EJ also threw Johnny’s aunt, who happens to also be EJ’s girlfriend, Belle Black (Martha Madison), under the bus with his ridiculous attempt to request a mistrial.
He forced Johnny to admit on the stand that Belle was EJ’s girlfriend, and the defense lawyer suddenly claimed that “Ms. Black had a major conflict of interest” and shouldn’t be allowed to prosecute the case.

Never mind that he risked Belle’s potential disbarment, EJ’s ruthless courtroom maneuvers showed Johnny that his father can’t be trusted.
The judge saw through EJ’s desperate courtroom tactics and refused to grant EJ’s request for a mistrial. Yet, the damage was already done, and it cost EJ his relationship with Belle.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: EJ raped Johnny’s Mother, Sami
Additionally, Johnny also recently found out that years ago, EJ raped his mother, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeny), and that’s how he was conceived.
The revelation led to a heated confrontation between Johnny and EJ. The night EJ was shot, Johnny arrived at the mansion with a gun and intended to pull the trigger on EJ.

However, he was unable to go through with killing his father. He left the gun with EJ and made his exit.
EJ now remembers that it was his ten-year-old niece, Rachel Black (Alice Halsey), who shot him. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) had already suspected Rachel.
What EJ does with this information could impact his fragile relationship with Johnny. We know that Johnny wouldn’t want Rachel to go down for such a heinous crime.
EJ was devastated to learn that Rachel was the shooter. It is evident from the jump that the guilty party was someone EJ and Marlena cared about and wanted to protect.

If EJ comes forward and admits the truth that Rachel is the shooter, Johnny may feel even more contempt for his father.
Rachel is only a ten-year-old child. Marlena believes that Rachel is traumatized and doesn’t recall shooting her uncle.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: EJ Is Devastated His Niece Shot Him
Rachel has endured months of nightmares, tummy troubles, crying spells, and fear. When children are experiencing severe trauma, they sometimes can’t remember the incident that caused it.
It was also clear that Rachel was the shooter since he was eye level with young Rachel, who pumped a bullet into his chest.

The reveal of EJ’s shooter in court won’t exactly soften Johnny’s contentious feelings toward his father. A visibly wrecked EJ told Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) that Rachel was the one who shot him.
We all know where this story is headed. Kristen will take the fall for Rachel and end up in prison. We suspect that the jury will reach a guilty verdict and determine that Johnny was the shooter.
Based on the Days’ weekly preview, we can imagine Kristen bursting into the courtroom and confessing to the crime before EJ has the chance to say it was Rachel.

Regardless, as Phillip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavioisier) declared, this is Salem. The truth will come out. EJ told Kristen he won’t sacrifice his son for her daughter.
When it does, we have to wonder if EJ and Johnny’s father-son bond is fixable. How could Johnny forgive EJ for his behavior? We can’t help but feel sorry for EJ and Kristen.
