‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers confirm that Marissa Reyes has been recast as a teenage Arianna Horton, and her father, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), is soon to follow.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Reyes will start her multi-month arc at the end of May. Massey will return to the soap in June. The last actress to play Ari was Lane Rosa.

In the soap SORAS, the character makes her part of the teen scene in Salem. Interestingly, the actress strongly resembles her onscreen mom, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). Spoilers predict Ari may clash with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) over Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer).
Arianna is the daughter of Will Horton and Gabi. Ari was named after her late aunt Arianna Hernandez (Lindsay Hartley), who was tragically killed by Sami Brady (Alison Sweeny) in a hit-and-run accident.
Arianna had discovered Sami Brady’s role in EJ DiMera’s (then played by James Scott) shooting. It’s ironic that her niece, Ari, is returning to Salem after EJ DiMera (now played by Dan Feuerriegel) has been shot again.
Reyes is from Houston, Texas, and was formally trained as an actress at Julliard as part of the Julliard Complete singer/actor program.
Her acting career started with theater, where she starred in plays and flourished. This year has been busy for Reyes, who has been involved in several high-profile projects.
Fans may recognize her from the Netflix comedy series Running Point, in which she plays opposite Kate Hudson. She also has an upcoming role in the horror flick The Elvilry, which stars Faye Dunaway.
Reyes has made a good impression on her co-stars, as Dan Feuerriegel recently shared a photo of Marrissa Reyes, Cherie Jimenez, Al Calderon, who plays Javi Hernandez, and himself on Instagram, prompting speculation that an aged-up Ari would soon be part of the canvas.

Arianna was conceived when Gabi (then played by Camilla Banus) and Will had a one-night stand in 2012. They started dating not long after high school, but Gabi broke up with Will due to Will’s refusal to be intimate. Arianna was born onscreen in 2013.
Will later realized he was gay, thanks to Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), who was openly gay. Sonn, Will, and Sonny fell in love.
When Gabi was sent to prison, Sonny and Will raised Arianna, and they moved to Arizona, where Ari has been staying with them ever since.
Will’s return is centered around the 60th anniversary of the soap. It will be exciting to see how Gabi and Will interact with a teen, Arianna.
That being said, Gabi has some heartache ahead. Her detective boyfriend, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), has accused her of shooting EJ.
We have doubts about what Gabi actually went through when pulling the trigger. However, like several other characters, she was hanging around outside of the DiMera mansion the night EJ took a bullet.
Hopefully, Ari’s arrival in Salem will coincide with Gabi being eliminated as a suspect in EJ’s misfortune. After all, Gabi and her now teenage daughter have much to catch up on.
