Dr. Rolf (William Utay) appears back in Salem while Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) receives a surprising phone call. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) makes a potentially fatal mistake. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) come to someone’s aide.

Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) supports Hope Brady (Krisitan Alfonso) as she reads a letter from Ted Lauren (Gilles Marini). Julie is fighting for her life in the hospital while Gabi is stunned to find out that her mother-in-law Vivian Alamain (Robin Strasser) is alive and back in town. Eric shares news about Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Holly to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), who feels rather conflicted about it.

Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) relay the heartbreaking news about Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) to both Hope Brady and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). Stefan and Vivian reunite and it’s a mother and son moment that Gabi is having a hard time seeing for herself. Sarah has an unsettled realization that might alter the course for her future. With no one around to talk to, she goes to Xander Cook (Paul telfer). Also, Eric finally tracks down Nicole while Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) plots to get rid of Ben.

Victor gives Xander a new mission. He tells him that he needs to kill Ben. Vivian and Kate Dimera (Lauren Koslow) come face to face. The last time that Kate saw Vivian was the night that she shot her. Ciara is suspicious when Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) offers her a new job at Titan. Sarah confides in Kayla about her predicament. The real Nicole Walker finally resurfaces in Salem, much to everyone’s surprise.
