ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Stella Henry (Vernee Watson-Johnson) has been going too far. Now, we’re going to give her the benefit of the doubt here. It’s possible she really truly believes meddling in Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) romantic life is in his best interest.
She might really believe he and Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) belong together. But we think she’s just creating more problems than anything. Let’s take a look at the latest and how it might backfire.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Crossing the line
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Stella is firmly on team reconciliation. So much so, she’s been pushing for it hard, and it almost worked. To an extent.
She’d managed to talk Jordan into fighting for her marriage. Which, of course, led to Jordan discovering Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) kissing. Not exactly the encouragement one wants when trying to get back with a former love.
Naturally, Jordan realized that it’s time to move on. She signed and sealed the divorce papers and put them in her outgoing mail box. Unfortunately, she also told Stella what happened and what she’d done.
While she was firm about wanting to just move on, she made a huge mistake when she left Stella alone in her office. Of course, Stella didn’t miss the opportunity to steal the papers before they were picked up. So, we now see two ways this could go.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Option #1
The first option would be that her whole scheme backfires. The first time the issue of signing the papers came up, Jordan had a lot of valid excuses for why she hadn’t gotten around to it yet. And he felt bad for pushing the issue.
However, when those papers don’t get filed, he’ll eventually come back and ask more questions. This could, in theory, lead to a fight if he decides to question her about this again. Which would just drive them apart even more. And likely lead to another set of papers getting filed.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Option #2
Of course, that would be the best possible outcome for Stella. Because ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Jordan knows he’s moving on and she wants to accommodate that. So when the papers don’t go through and it becomes an issue again, Jordan could remember Stella was alone in her office.
She also knows Stella’s stance and how hard she pushed Jordan to not send in the papers. So, if Curtis finds this out, Stella might be done.
He already told her once to butt out of his romantic life. He also pointed out how she was out of line in talking to Portia or anyone else about this issue. So, if he learns Stella took those papers, that could be the final straw.
And we honestly wouldn’t blame him. We get where the writers are coming from, in that they’re saying Curtis and Jordan are meant to be. But Stella’s pushy nature and tactics are making it hard to like her. Or to root for the outcome she wants.
