ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the custody hearing is just getting started. While we’re not seeing a resolution happen today, at some point production will start again and we’ll see the resolution. But is it going to be a resolution either party is happy with? Personally, we’re thinking it shouldn’t be. Let’s take a look at why.

ABC 'General Hospital' Spoilers: Michael Really Stretches the Truth About Willow and Sasha!

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bad lawyers all around

First off, we’re not sure either representation in this case deserves a win. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) advised Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to get married to make his own case stronger. Despite having a woman with one little thing on her record, one Michael actually loved, Diane all but implied he better find someone else to marry. So, he chose Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), a woman he never even dated. The night before the hearing. And Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) couldn’t even arrange for the license to be dated reasonably when he bribed his way into one. This is an obvious cheap plow that should hurt Michael’s case. But that’s not all the bad lawyering going on.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Should either one win the custody case?

Meanwhile, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is making a big mistake himself. On Wednesday, he decided to point out the convenience of Michael’s sudden marriage and really grilled him on the nature of his relationship with Willow. Bad move, considering he just got blindsided with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) rushing in to the hearing late—because of a last-minute wedding. To a former mobster. It seems the better bet would have been for Martin to focus on building Nelle up, rather than tear Michael’s marriage down. It just shows the hypocrisy on both sides.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Other problems

Then, there’s the fact Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) pulled that stunt at the hospital and ended up making a veiled threat to Martin at the Metro Court. We loved Diane’s reaction to that, as well as her lecturing Carly after about threatening the opposition. She’s got a reach uphill battle ahead with this one, because Carly can’t stop throwing her weight around. Or Sonny’s, to be more accurate. And that just opens up a lot of questions as to that side of the family.

Also, we have the indecision of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). We honestly see her getting on the stand to speak out against Nelle. That’s sure to be some testimony that’ll hurt Nelle’s case. But, again, we have just as much trouble on the other side of this. So, what should happen?

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What we see

First, we think the judge should call them both out as scammers in fake marriages to sway the court. If the judge is honest and fair, they’ll see all the really bad, questionable things on both sides as far as each’s record, the mob/cult connections, the forged signature, etc. Once that’s all taken into account, neither one should technically win custody. At least, they wouldn’t be seen as worthy in most judge’s eyes. But this is Daytime, so all that shady stuff will probably be forgotten. While it’s very possible Nelle will win, we see the end result ultimately being Wiley back with Michael.
