ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For July 7: Assurances and attack dogs
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was clearly wounded by the sudden engagement of Jason and Carly. On Wednesday, Jason assures Britt she meant something to him and still does. Will that help? We’re not sure.
After all, if he is telling the truth, she’ll wonder why he’s marrying someone else. So, the only way we see for Jason’s attempt at lifting Britt’s spirits to work is by telling her the truth. And even that might not be enough.
Related to this, it looks like someone is getting into others’ business again. In the promo, Carly warns Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) not to take advantage of “that”.
We aren’t thrilled with her butting in, but we have to give Carly credit for at least trying to look out for Britt in some way, because it seems a given that’s what this is about. Given how she behaved about Britt before, we’re glad to see this apparent turnaround. Maybe some of the things Jason said about Britt finally got through to her.

In other news, it looks like the obvious flirtation between Dante and Sam will take a bit of a turn. In the promo, Dante tells Sam to trust him. Sounds like he’s looking out for her after the obvious ex meltdown on Tuesday when she let Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) talk her into a bonfire on the pier.
And we assume what they were burning was stuff that related to Jason and Sam’s relationship. It’s only a matter of time before she rebounds with Dante.

As for other stories, General Hospital spoilers indicate Nina is playing a dangerous game. On Wednesday, it gets worse. At least, it seems to.
Ever the helpful type, Phyllis () will encourage “Mike” (Maurice Benard) to visit Nina in Port Charles for the holiday. We’re sure she’ll just love seeing him appear, and we wouldn’t be shocked if this coincided with the Jason/Carly wedding.
Whether he does get to Port Charles or not, it seems Nina is ready to do some confessing. She has news for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) July 7th. Could she be ready to reveal what she’s really been up to all this time? We think it’s at least getting close. And Liesl would probably be the best person for her to confide in.

Also, it looks like Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has an I-told-you-so moment coming. It seems Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) tells Brook Lynn they have a big problem.
Considering she caught Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) alone with the baby, it’s not hard to guess what that problem is. And this is going to make Brook Lynn’s life so much harder.

Finally, the chat Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) started continues Wednesday. She tells Cam they never got the chance to find out. We have a feeling that’s going to change really fast.
