‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers reveal Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) recently re-joined the fun at GH. Of course, not everyone was thrilled for her to return as the Chief of Staff. Thiebaud joined Michael Fairman of Michael Fairman Channel to talk about her return, her career choices, and what might lie ahead. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights of the chat.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Attitude is everything
First, General Hospital spoilers indicate there’s a lot of Britt hate in Port Charles. Some people at GH nicknamed her the Britch, something that came up in a great scene when the character first returned.
We loved that Thiebaud loves the nickname her character holds and sometimes introduces herself as The Britch. In fact, she shared how she retweeted a joke picture of her character and how funny it was. Something that we think some actors might not get much of a laugh out of.
Related to this, we got a kick out of her kind of brushing off that she gets reminded on Twitter all the time of how some people do not want her character with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). She seriously looked as though none of the criticism gets to her, something we could all learn from when online. It’s easy to get caught up in the nastier side of things.
On the flip side, though, she also talked about the great reception she gets from others when she returns to the show. And how there are a lot of other fans who love her current story with Jason.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Changing it up
During the chat, she made it clear she loves working on the show. General Hospital spoilers reveal she’s had several stints on the series since her debut. However, she also said how important it is to her to go off and do other things from time to time as well. She said she didn’t want to play one character her whole career, even when the character gives her so much to work with, as is happening with Britt.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The future
As for the future, this interview was released before today’s episode. So, the issue of whether or not Britt had the Huntington’s marker was still up in the air. While we know she does now, the actress had to play it cool for the interview. She gave her personal feelings on how Britt would react to either scenario.
She also spoke of how a false positive test got in the way of her current story, as well as the measures the show’s taking during this whole situation. Check out the interview above to see more of the chat, including what she thinks of those Nurses’ Ball red-carpet sessions.
