‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers reveal there’s been a lot of turmoil at GH since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) took over the hospital. Several key players there were either out of the picture or their time at the hospital reduced. This, of course, was Cyrus’ way of making sure these long-time people wouldn’t catch on to his nefarious dealings.

Of course, he was wrong. His situation fell apart fast, and some big changes are ahead now that he’s off cooling his heels with the Feds. Let’s see what might happen, who in particular we want to see back in action, and a real-life update for one of the players.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Big changes

First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is now calling the shots at GH. She’s Cyrus’ replacement on the board, and her appointment came with some fast action. She reversed a lot of Cyrus’ staffing decisions. Which, of course, led Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to question her future there.

She has reason to. And not just because she was Cyrus’ pick for Chief of Staff. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) recently returned to the show and it was promised she had something big going on. Well, we found out that since Monica is unsure of whether she’ll keep Britt or not, Terry threw her hat into the ring for consideration.

We see this being quite a fight, and Britt is not going to give up easily. Her job is part of what’s keeping her going after her Huntington’s diagnosis. Her situation has given her a new love and excitement for the work and her personal life. If this is taken from her, we see Britt dealing with some dark times.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Who should get the job

Honestly, we are Team Britt. She’s done a good job at GH and showed her loyalty and integrity for the place. After all, she put her own life at risk by looking into Cyrus’ drug and helping Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to get info. Without her help, it’s possible Cyrus wouldn’t have been exposed.

Not only that, but her current health challenge has sparked a deeper passion for healing others. We can’t see what more Monica could want in a Chief of Staff. Plus, we just haven’t personally seen enough of Terri to know how qualified she is or how she might be in the role.

Most of what we’ve seen with her has been helping Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) through her son’s illness and death, plus being a friend to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst. Sure, her appointment to the position could give her more to do, but we’d rather than go another direction and let Britt keep the momentum up in her character’s development.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Most anticipated return

Of all these changes coming, we’re most hopeful for the return of Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy). She’s been sorely missed and no disrespect to others, but no one can quite fill Epiphany’s shoes in the tough nurse department. She has a presence that’s hard to ignore and much-needed at GH. General Hospital spoilers reveal she has been invaluable in so many ways.

In real life, the actress has been keeping busy during Epiphany’s administration purgatory. She’s set to appear in a new Netflix film, Good on Paper. It’s about a comedian who meets a man who might be too good to be true. While there are no real details about the extent of her role or specific story, we do know the character’s name is Judge Harriet Gold.
