ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the catch up continued Wednesday. And the episode they aired involved Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) learning about Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) infidelity.
Ultimately, she realizes what Sasha really did and felt grateful. However, is this going to lead to more trouble in the future? Let’s take a look at the possibilities.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: More problems
In the final couple of weeks before we ran out of new episodes, the custody hearing was about to begin. Sasha had pretended to have an affair with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to bring Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) together.
It was for the greater good. However, he also had work stress leading up to this. In particular, Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) screwing up and blowing a big deal and someone gunning for all the company shares they can get.
He was also on leave around that time to bond with Wiley, since they’d lost that time together. As bad as things were, he had no idea about the worst of it.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lies
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly kept Sahsa’s pretend affair to herself. Then, we had Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) planning to take Michael’s job permanently—behind Michael’s back. With so much betrayal behind the scenes, we can’t help but feel bad for Michael.
And if those who believe Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) will win custody are right? There’s a recipe for disaster ahead.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dark side
Recent flashback episodes showed that Michael does have it in him to be like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). A younger Michael showed a lot of interest in Sonny’s other businesses.
In fact, he seemed to think they were the coolest thing out there. We also saw him on the verge of killing Sonny in one of these episodes.
However, to date, Michael has managed to avoid that path. He is what’s considered a respectable member of Port Charles society, and he seems to be doing his best to do the right thing all the time.
Heck, he was willing to marry someone he didn’t love for his son’s sake. That says a lot. But how far can one be pushed until they snap?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Trigger?
If Nelle should win this case, we see Michael going down that dark path. Especially given Ned’s plans. And let’s not forget that nothing stays secret in Port Charles forever.
Learning Sasha lied and Carly knew could make the other blows even worse, and leave him exploring those darker leanings.
It makes sense from another standpoint as well. Michael is the only one of Sonny’s remaining children we can see taking over. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is too straight-laced.
And we can’t even conceive of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) joining the organization. And his other two kids are far too young to even be able to take over when the day comes. Michael’s really the only option, and it’s possible there might be a method to all the storyline madness.
Michael might have needed to be broken down to nothing in order to step in one day. Will it happen? We’ll have to wait and see.
