ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers, but rather rumors, indicate there might be a clear cut reason as to why the ABC soap has decided to postpone filming yet again. As many fans can recall, ‘General Hospital’ was one of the first daytime television dramas to announce back in mid-March that it was suspending filming because of the coronavirus outbreak. Well now it looks like it’s one of the last dramas to resume filming again, behind both ‘Bold and the Beautiful’, which began taping in late June, and ‘Young and the Restless’, which starts production this week. Here’s what you need to know.

Even though ‘General Hospital’ is consistently one of the highest-rated daytime shows for the ABC network with a solid and very supportive fan base, producers have been rather quiet about what steps they plan to take to bring the show back to life. So far reports have only indicated that they plan to resume filming again by July 20th, but that date is fluid. With the rising Covid-19 cases in the state of California and in Los Angeles county, local officials and the show’s producers are being as cautious as possible. In fact, even the cast and crew have been rather quiet on social media, with the exception of a few stars posting about how much they miss their co-stars.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: GH Filming Delayed Because Of Kelly Monaco And COVID-19 Testing?

Well now there has been some speculation on certain soap blogs that the reason why production has been delayed is because two female actors have supposedly tested positive for Covid-19. While no names are being named, there’s further speculation that one of the stars might be actress Kelly Monaco. She is close friends with celebrity Shanna Moakler, who recently announced that she tested positive for coronavirus. So far Kelly herself has not made any comments about the report, nor has the ABC network said anything about GH stars testing positive for the virus.
